Please check out a site called "Christianity or Mithraism." Mithra was a deity who was born of a virgin, died and rose again. He was born on Dec 25th. Does any of this sound familiar?

This is somewhat a second part to the question I just asked.

If you were in a random situation where your own life and those of all people you know was not at stake, but you had to choose which of the following people to let die, who would you choose, and why?

1) A young uneducated single mother of two, addicted to meth.
2) A young man with a very high risk of incurable cancer
3) A middle aged man who has repeatedly cheated on his wife
4) A young child who had once accidentally burned his own house down, killing his sister
5) A baby born with HIV

They were all involved and Dick Cheney had the idea, I dont understand how they got away with it, and why the investigation is reopned. Al quida had nothing to do with it.

All the evidence is right here:

Christ means messiah, and in the jewish bible, or as we see it the old testament, Christ is spoken of in Isiah, where as Mohammed isn't why? because he's a false prophet, there is no prophecy of Mohammed. and any muslims that say's there is is a liar. http://www.freewebs.com/king_of_crusade

I have had generational bondages broken off of me that I did not even know I was under. I have seen motives of others in the spirit realm which was a very big shock. Seen things through the eyes of the Lord. Other than being born again fasting has been the most eye opening amazing thing I have ever experienced.

I strongly believe that yes Jesus existed, however, I see him only as a messenger of God. Can someone explain why when you walk in a Christian church you hear, "Praise Jesus" "Blessed Jesus" "Jesus will save you" and you hear little mention of God. Who do Christians really worship?

I am sorry but some people do not count and those are the people that accept views without research. That is - most people (even the so called educated - the stupid masses - the ones without a soul. Those are people that get way too much press for hateful deeds done out of so called faith. I am sorry but cutting someone's head off on national tv only shows what a coward you are, and how much character you lack. If you really had faith in your stupid egocentric beliefs then they would be cutting your head off voluntarily (on your part) so that you could show the ultimate devotion towards your beliefs. You would be the true martyr. I call on all Muslims who champion everyone else's death to voluntarily offer their own head for Allah. You could have as many sexual virgins as you would like at this point. Otherwise you are the ultimate nasty coward and I spit on your beliefs. As Jesus would say - do onto others as you would have them do onto you.

God told Adam and Eve that if they ate from The Tree of Knowledge that they would die the very day they ate it (Genesis 2:16, 17).

The serpent only told Eve the truth when he said that eating from the tree would not kill her but would actually open her eyes to the knowledge of good and evil. She and Adam ate the fruit and did indeed become aware of the difference between good and evil, but they did not die (Genesis 3:1-7).

So, God lied and committed the original sin.

Which means, in the end Jesus had to die to cover up his fathers original sin, right?

Since there are differences, that change the meaning, for example the one where Jesus told Peter that he wouldn't send anyone to hell - does that not throw into suspect the rest of the Gospels since they differ in the message of the Christian's Blessed Jesus?

Since there is no Book, Chapter, or Verse, where God spoke the Table of Contents, are the Table of Contents suspect? Is it possible there are some books contained that should not be, or some that should be that were not permitted in at the time of assembly, despite the fact that they were the word of God?

Take for example the Gospel of Peter. Peter spoke to Jesus Why is Peter's Gospel omitted?

Is this question perhaps the most damning of all to Mere Christianity? Is there any response besides the preprogrammed Apologetics that I can get out of a book?
