As a pagan (Wiccan) I do not believe in hell or Satan. This is a judaio/christian/islam belief. Most religions don't believe in hell and yet they still believe. I believe in spirit and in the earth and in my creatress/creator. I don't need a fear of eternal punishment to make me believe, nor make me a spiritual person.

Yes. I do good because doing bad is a lie against what I believe to be true and I love truth. I don't believe in a Hell quit the way most people do I believe in an eternal progression meaning if you will you can grow if you love evil then you'll just dissolve with out the "life and light" So what do I have to fear?

Yes, because the issue at hand is not heaven or hell.

It's about having "life more abundant". Simply put, having faith (in any religion) will make life more enjoyable.

Besides, tis better to believe and be wrong, then NOT believe, and be wrong.

It would way suck to die and go to hell when you didn't expect it. That's why very few people die atheists and every hospice has a priest on speed-dial.

You atheists can't stick to it until the very end. They almost always crack before they croak, maybe only a death-bed conversion as a kind of insurance policy.

I have lived in hell - it is between my ears at times. Every human being has experienced the craziness of the ego mind turned against you. That is hell. The ego mind is insidious when we forget the it is meant to be a servant. When we start to allow it to run our lives the head becomes filled with mechanisms, the mouth is ranting, raving, the whole atmosphere is polluted with arguments and opinions. You would be amazed at the amount of rubbish that spews forth when stuck in a head trip. Living in hell is an everyday experience for some people. Does not have to be when one stops clinging to the small space in their heads.

I think a great many people would drop away from the churches, but I still think that most would stay. They would stay because they love God, and they would want to do what he wanted them to do which is keep his commandments and do his will.

For myself though. The fact that hell does not exist would mean I could commit suicide without the fear of going to hell.

Yes, I believe, not because I fear going to hell, but because of all God has done in my life. It's not about fear, it's about love.

nope
truth is? The God of the Bible does not subscribe to nor endorse the burning hell created by evil men to browbeat others into fear of eternal damnation. The concept and publishing of hellfire originates in ancient Babylon, and has been spread throughout the earth as a lie that ultimately serves Satan's purpose of deception.
All those that believe and promote this unscriptural teaching are going to the real hell; that is, they will return to the dust. For God has said, "dust you are, and to dust you will return".

I know that my bad deeds will eventually lead me to hell, so considered that I've booked my place, still it doesn't stop me from believing, repenting, praying and always try to be the better me.

And, 'hell' depends on interpretation, it could be those fiery chasms where people get roasted, and Devil dwells, but it could also be ill mishaps and series of bad consequences of your previous doings.
