who hate muslims? Just because someone is a certain religion, I don't see how every single person can be perceived as evil. I actually have a very good friend who is muslim and I am acquainted with a few others. As followers of God, why judge and hate. It's very hard for me as I am a christian as well as a republican. Part of the reason I'm republican is due to the fact that we're pro life and we care about family values. So how can a christian say that they "hate" muslims. Don't you fellow christians believe that we should not judge?

All of my friends, that I have known for a little over a year, are Christians too and they say it is wrong to be attracted to your own gender.

One of them even says he used be attracted to guys, but was able to change, but I have tried to stop being attracted to guys since a month before my sixteenth birthday (I am almost seventeen now), but I cannot seem to! Is that because I am a bad Christian?

Many people judge the belief of whether there really is a God. They think that Christianity is a false, yet alone, religion. They point out people and call them sinners and what not. I've witnessed this many times. Aren't there bad apples with good ones, when picking?

I just really wanted to bug those who are always saying something about God really. I see that people have a real fondness of hating Him and always going against His words. They're always putting a challenge to him. So, I wanted to throw one at them, see how they react, answer, whatever you want to say. Let me know.

Oh yeah, you guys always ask, "Why should I believe in God," and say other things like, "wheres my proof that He exists?" Why SHOULDN'T I believe in Him? If you can give me that answer, may be I'll believe you.

Seeing is believing but, in order to see, you must believe.

Hi! I have several freinds who have done interfaith marriages, however I am not sure if this is something very common or is it because we are in NYC the melting pot. I was wondering what is the case across the US? and How do you raise a child with two faith? It must me a monumental task to get this done and I know this because one of my friends is coping with looking for a sunday school and Hebrew school at the same time. (As for me I am Muslim and I am married to a muslim so that is not a problem, there is plenty of inter marriage history on my family tree, but not interfaith). But I am sure many people have done this sucessfully: (Hindus,Christian,Jews, Wiccans, Muslims, etc)

If I'm told many different stories about the same event, I'm not likely to beleive any of them. And since pretty much all religions have their own views on creationism, moral conduct the afterlife etc., how can you say that any one is true? Seems to me that it all depends on what cultural lens you view it through and that there is no singular truth.

And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites(Jews), which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death? Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death **YE WILL BECOME UTTERLY CORRUPT**, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through **THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS**. (Deuteronomy 31:25-29)" Here the Jews' hands are predicted to cause so much corruption (including corruption in the Bible). Jeremiah 8:8 below which came approximately 826 later confirmed the Bible corruption.
"How can you say we (the Jews) are wise and the law of the Lord is with us, when in fact the **FALSE PEN OF THE SCRIBES** has made it into a lie? (Jeremiah 8:8 (Revised Standard Version))"

Jesus made water into wine. Jesus multiplied the loaves and fish. Jesus walked on water.

Jesus could have made it clear that we treat everybody as equals.( No sexism) He could have chastized people that had slaves. He could have cured any disease or germ by wiping off the face of the earth forever. He could have given us foresight on Stalin or Hitler.

What is your opinion?

The New Testament abrogated this. But still, the New Testament fell terribly short to trace Mary to the blood line of Solomon or even David. Here is more proofs from the www.jewsforjudaism.com web site:
1) According to the Jewish Bible, the Messiah must be a descendent of King David. (Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24) Although the Greek Testament traces the genealogy of Joseph (husband of Mary) back to David, it then claims that Jesus resulted from a virgin birth, and, that Joseph was not his father. (Mat. 1:18-23) In response, it is claimed that Joseph adopted Jesus, and passed on his genealogy via adoption.
There are two problems with this claim:
a) there is no Biblical basis for the idea of a father passing on his tribal line by adoption. A priest who adopts a son from
another tribe cannot make him a priest by adoption;
b) Joseph could never pass on by adoption that which he doesn’t have. Because Joseph descended from Jeconiah (Mat. 1:11) he fell under the curse of that king that none of his descendants could ever sit as king upon the throne of David. (Jeremiah 22:30; 36:30).
To answer this difficult problem, apologists claim that Jesus traces himself back to King David through his mother Mary, who allegedly descends from David, as shown in the third chapter of Luke. There are four basic problems with this claim:
a] There is no evidence that Mary descends from David. The third chapter of Luke traces Joseph’s genealogy, not Mary’s.
b] Even if Mary can trace herself back to David, that doesn’t help Jesus, since tribal affiliation goes only through the father, not mother. Cf. Num. 1:18; Ezra 2:59.
c] Even if family line could go through the mother, Mary was not from a legitimate Messianic family. According to the Bible, the Messiah must be a descendent of David through his son Solomon (II Sam. 7:14; I Chron. 17:11-14, 22:9-10, 28:4-6) The third chapter of Luke is useless because it goes through David’s son Nathan, not Solomon. (Luke 3:31)
d] Luke 3:27 lists Shealtiel and Zerubbabel in his genealogy. These two also appear in Matthew 1:12 as descendants of the cursed Jeconiah. If Mary descends from them, it would also disqualify her from being a Messianic progenitor.
Now my question to all dear christans is that;
IF Jesus was crucified, he couldn’t have been the Messiah, the Anointed is always victorious (Psalms 18:50, 132: 10-11), and God protects him (Luke 22:43, Hebrews 5:7). Remember also if someone who claims to be messiah but dies during his mission ,is a lier.

This section is RELIGION and Spirituality.
My religion is Secular Humanism. I admit I am not prone to being spiritual. I also admit to being an Atheist. Even though atheism is not a religion Secular Humanism is. Other atheistic religions could be(but not limited to) Buddism, Naturalist, Scientologists, ect...

What grounds do people have for saying all Atheists do not belong in this section?

... and then found that their life did a total turnaround? Since I've "accepted" the lord in my heart, things have changed so much for the better. Crappy things happen here and there, but I'm just so much happier and things always fall into place. Anyone else's life gotten better simply by putting their faith in God?
