if so, then so is over-eating, under-eating, substance abuse, dying hair, dressing in a way that will cause the opposite sex to lust after us (knowingly causing someone else to sin is wrong too), piercing ears or any other body parts, shaving legs etc, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, modern medicine, the list can go on and on. We like to do things to make ourselves feel attractive. Even just putting on an outfit we like can fall into that category. We all abuse or alter our bodies in some way. I dont know that the bible ever refers to these things as specifically wrong. If we arent intentionally hurting ourselves or anyone else, whats the problem. i have a tattoo and a piercing that are always covered by my clothes. vanity? no, because they are unseen. i just like them. just like you may have a shirt you feel really great in. my form of adornment is just more permanent. we will all get new bodies in the after-life. i believe he is more concerned about our souls than our bodies, so as long as our reasons for what we do are pure, than i would conclude that its ok.

Yes and no at the same time. What if someone had their face burnt in a fire? I think it would be acceptable to get some type of surgery to fix it. But if you're a rich, wealthy and a perfectly healthy person wouldn't you want to spend that money on something more important. How about donate it to a fund for starving children or a cure for a certain disease? Tattoos can be acceptable in certain situations...Imagine that you are in the military or something of that likes, what would people identify you by if your body ever shown up somewhere? Although God forbid this from happening. People don't even need all that expensive stuff to look beautiful. Beauty comes from personality and actions. Anyone can beautiful if they are kind, generous, and happy.

Good question!
If God gave us "freedom of will" and our body is our own....then in my opinion, it's a personal choice to alter our bodies. Nobody else has the right to tell us what clothes to wear or how to cut our hair, so we should have the right to alter our bodies as we choose.
Or would someone say that having a cancerous body part cut out is also....deforming God's creation. I'm not sure where the line should be drawn.

I am not a christian however in the bible in Leviticus 19-20 it says "do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on your selves. I am the Lord."
So therefor it looks like tattoos are a sin.
I don't belive in that but that is what it says under the "various Laws" section.

i don't think of i might ever evaluate it tbh. i think of it extremely is greater advantageous to be organic and that i think of you are able to fall into the possibility of turning into addicted to changing your self and getting surgery after surgery just to look like the cookie cutter thought of attractiveness that's created with the help of society. i don't think of human beings could hate how they provide the effect of being. plastic surgery can bypass so incorrect and a great number of persons awaken and want that they had their previous nostril etc back reason what the generic practitioner has given them is so pretend or undesirable finding. human beings may additionally go through extreme issues clarification for surgery so that's only not nicely worth it. i would not get botox the two, it expenses a bomb and is something you may get each 6 months or notwithstanding long it extremely is inbetween. it may additionally paralyse your face and reason you to lose a great number of expression on your face, what's the element residing existence not having the flexibility to grin or frown etc good. the actuality it may paralyse you and it extremely is a toxin being injected into your face is sufficient to place me off ever getting it. I plan to develop previous for sure and tbh i think of as you age you may sense greater delicate with your self and that i'm finding forward to attending to the age the place you at the instant are not predicted to look perfect even in spite of the indisputable fact that i might nonetheless prefer to look my maximum suitable and take it sluggish yet i might do it for sure and only artwork with what I even have at that element. i don't think of human beings care what you appear to be (nicely as long as you wash nonetheless in many situations etc for sure) once you get previous the age of fifty so it extremely is far less tension. human beings are meant to age and get wrinkles and that i by no skill ever solar bathe or spend too long interior the solar so with a bit of luck i will age like my mum who would not have many wrinkles in any respect. I additionally drink a great number of water, eco-friendly tea and workout etc. i might evaluate attractiveness dentistry in spite of the indisputable fact that as some peoples the teeth can bypass undesirable whilst they age, if that got here approximately to me i might get veneers or something. i think of human beings could have the means to get plastic surgery in the event that they like, that's only not something i might prefer to place myself with the aid of.
