I am at a standstill. Biblebashers blame the mussies and vice versa. They maintain that they are the only ones that are correct and that everyone else is wrong. For example the Pope... .warmongering, fight starting nazi that he is... and all the nutty muslim clerics and extremists..

i have to teach a sunday school class with kids age 2-4, and they have the shortest attention span. i want to teach them something that they can learn from yet have fun learning about.

Islam is a culture, not only a religion as most people think. The strange thing about fanatic muslims is their ignorance of Islamic culture ( art, poetry, philosophy..etc. ). The Idea we have now about Islam is based on terrorists opinions about the religion, and not the reflections of philosophers about the Islamic vision in the thoughts of Islamic scholars.

Maybe we're interpreting the Bible incorrectly. Maybe there was no death before Jesus. Maybe humanity has been paying the ultimate price, death, for the sins of Jesus. It's quite possible that Jesus must believe in us in order for him to be re-united with his father. What do you think? Should I start another sect of Christianity?

ive seen many a theist claim that carbon dating is flawed.

anyone who knows even a little bit about science can tell you carbon decays at a constant level, giving us an accurate readout on how old certain tested items are.

i doubt many theists know that.

so im just curious. how, theists and beleivers in god/opposers of evolution, is our carbon dating method flawed.

its one thing to simpl say it flawed, its another to point out HOW its flawed.

just curious on how people view these things... so I'm asking, what are the beliefs you hold, and do you agree with them being a good thing.

that is, if you belive in an eternal hell, do you feel that this is a righteous, and just system?

if you had to vote for what religious system was how things were, and it not effect your afterlife-staus as you now know it, but if you were there before anything, and god asked your opinion on which is best, would you vote for the one you currently belive in?

I have trouble fathoming why people would belive in a system they don't like, and "Fire insurance" faith is a silly and disgusting idea.

Hello, everyone. I am a Muslim, but I also believe that it was Judas who betrayed Jesus for a miserable price. Why would he do such a thing to such a great man as Jesus? Do you think he was weak, and got manipulated by forces bigger than himself, or is there more to it? BTW, I don't know the answer. I'm just interested in other people's theories on the subject. does this dream ean anything i had a dream were this guy tried 2 steal me i ran away and got away the guy looked kinda like fabio but with black hair i got away from him many times and he kept comeing after me then i asked a crossing gaurd 2 help me but she lead me 2 a place i already bean and he cuaght me he also had another kid about my age help him when he caught me he carried me like we were married then i said plz i will do anything for u 2 let me go than i woke up

The other day I received a bunch of free t-shirts from a skating shop. One was from a company called Lord and at first i thought nothing of it, but looking again, there's an upside down cross on it and Lord is written in reverse writing. I just want to know, as a serious question here...would I be offending anyone wearing this? Cheers.

...she is this little old Russian lady who trys tto sell trinkets and junk. I gave to her not to receive, but just to help. She refused to allow me to walk away without giving me SOMETHING, so she gave me a photograph of some landscape I had never seen....then, while thanking me profusely, she made the sign of the cross, kissed her hands and made the sign of the cross on me, as if she was blessing me... Im an atheist, and I just wanted her to know that her thanks was all I needed, but she speaks no english.

What does that make me - an atheist who gave money to the poor for no other reason than to help out.....do you still think I am a bad person for not beleiving? Do you think her mythical God is smiling upon me for assisting her?

My question specifically is what do you think these fossils are? I assume you aren’t just going to deny they exist (but I wouldn’t be surprised).

So If you agree that this species existed, I guess you believe god created them at the same time as all the other animals. Or am I wrong?
