Yeah man. But look, hey, blasphamy is part of it. Part of Everything that has to happen. There ain't no blasphamy when you think about it. You can say that a Dog is a Rat, it's all part of the Higher Poetry. Higher Poetry, and blasphamytal speech (sic) is part of the Nebulous Message that one has to decode to reach to an understanding of what's life down here. There are little worms inside us. Does it mean anything?

You are so right as you can see here with most of the replies here. As for JT, you have to ask your self why you felt the need to be so hateful at the end. You have know idea is this person has read the Bible or not, if your a christian, start acting like one & not be judgmental. I have & will pray. Thanks for the question.

You are not very perceptive at all, are you? There is no "... hatred and anger toward the Lord." He is, after all, imaginary. How can anybody be angry and hateful against something that does not exist? But I, and many others, are DISGUSTED, though. Disgusted by stupidity, willful ignorance and self delusion... which pretty much sums up the Abrahamic death cults of desert monotheism (Judaism, Christianity, Islam).

It disgusts me to know that three-quarters of the population of the USA is infected with some sort of insidious mental virus that leads them to the insane certainty that the myths, superstitions, fairy tales and fantastical delusions of a bunch of ignorant Bronze Age fishermen and wandering goat herders represent some kind of cosmic 'TRUTH' about fundamental aspects of existence and reality.

It disgusts me to know that so many people dwell in a delusional reality (per Genesis) in which a 6,000 year-old Earth is seperated from a 6,000 year-old Heaven by a solid 'firmament' structure (the sky).

I am disgusted by the fact that these people believe that they inhabit a magical universe, which they share with talking snakes (with legs) and donkeys, a shepherd staff that turns into an asp, demons chased out of people and into pigs, friendly spirits, evil spirits, walking on water, multiplying loaves and fishes, food falling from the sky, conception by a ghost, people raised from the dead, the sun stopping in its tracks, parting seas, people being bodily sucked up into heaven (which, by the way, lies on the 'other side' of the sky), world-wide flood that drowned the earth to a depth of 40 feet above the tallest mountain, creating people from a dust bunny and a rib, a magical tree of knowledge, god speaking from a burning bush... and ritual cannibalism, by eating god in the form of a cracker.

In a sane world, anybody running around spouting ANY of that crap, would be locked up in the State Farm for the Funny. Apparently, though, mass insanity seems to convey some sort of free pass for the loony.

It disgusts me to know that in our society, irrational, deluded people who ACTUALLY BELIEVE such nonsense is TRUE are permitted to vote, hold public office, procreate, and shape the minds trusting, vulnerable children.

It disgusts me to know that these same people think that there is something wrong with those who DON'T believe all of this ridiculous crap.

Get a grip.

*************

"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion." ~ Robert M. Pirsig

See? Nothing there "... against the Lord." Just a bunch of unhappiness with ignorance and stupidity.

If you are going to pray then pray for our country. We are heading down the wrong path and we need to make a change soon.

Sure I will.

Dear God, please forgive those who arrogantly use your name in the misguided attempt to elevate themselves above all others. And, who, like the hypocrites and pharisees, stand in the public square caterwauling and proclaiming your name as if that will get them better seats in heaven.

Amen.

Maybe you should pray for yourself after you have actually read the bible.

To 2dee9:

I am not being hateful, I am giving a free bible lesson.

The bible specifically prohibits public praying and holding yourself above others.

Perhaps you should also read your bible if you think praying over the internet for people who don't want or seek your help is considered "Christian."

Dear God,
I wish for you to bestow upon the asker of this question a few extra brain cells so that she can think for herself and use a rational, logical mind.
While your at it, would you tell her to stop wearing her religion on her sleeve? Its really annoying.

God forgives those who blaspheme His Name. God will not forgive those who commit the unforgiveable sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit by rejecting the one who gave His life so we could have an eternal future in heaven. Jesus is the only way, truth, and life.

Not trying to be smart, just trying to be helpful with your grammar here. It's 'blaspheme' in the above sentence, not blasphemy.
