“I have come to the conclusion that whether or not a person is a religious believer does not matter. Far more important is that they be a good human being”
- The Dalai Lama -

What do you think?

i am not religious but me and my friends have been studying ramadhan for school (we're 15) and we thought it would be a good idea if we could try and do the fasting this year.

since we are doing it more for acheivement reasons rather than religion so we made a few exeptions like being able to drink water at the gym...

does anyone have any warnings or advice so we can achieve our goal

A couple nights ag o i had a dream about Jesus telling me that I was going to hell unless I changed my ways. I saw hell in front of me and heaven in the back. Does this mean anything

I've been told many times how my soul will burn in hell. This implies that a soul has the ability to burn. To be able to burn there should be oxygen in Hell. Which implies that a soul needs oxygen, obviously.

I can't fully understand this. I can see how my body needs oxygen, but why would my soul need it?

There may be something up with this years Jewish New Year.

New Moon 22. Also that the moon is the furthest away from Earth for the year.

Feast of the Trumpets 23

Sabbath 22 (Hebrew at sunset) or 23

Autumn Equinox 22 (in most of America 12:03 am New York) 23 in Jerusalem

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
"knoweth" is a completed past tense verb in Matthew 24:36.
Strong's number G1492
Besides that, The Jews call tomorrow (10 hours ahead in Israel from California time) "The Day that no man knoweth." Making Matthew 24:36 a RIDDLE?

I can't say that I KNOW that the Rapture is going to happen this coming Sabbath, but this is very different this year. Remember to keep you eyes on Jesus Christ. Stay in faith! Look to Him!

If God wanted the Jewish faith to be predominant, then why did he reserve it for the Israelites? Seriosly, have you ever noticed there are no black Jews.

Man is fallible, period. How come so many people take it seriously when they say that another person's point of view is wrong when it comes to faith? (examples are all the religions and the majority of the people who say that the other is wrong)
In reality I would like to believe that God is a loving deity, giddy beyond compared that the majority of his "children" believe in him in one shape or form. We aren't perfect in fact there is no proof he exists..so why is it that people get so personal when they talk about their religions even going as far as: You are wrong!
My opinion: we're not wrong, we all just have different points of view and it's a shame that the majority of us are ignorant towards the personal belief of others. After all, we're following the interpretation of one man or woman (pastor, priest, etc.)

When I die, which is inevitable, I don’t want be seated next to Him, I always thought the Pope was a complete bore, and I seriously don’t want to make small talk with Sister Maria Teresa of Calcutta. My life has been a plethora of joy, I had the best and kindest Mom and Dad in the world (they were both non-believers), my friend and family have been a delight, we have laughed, cried, and together we have enjoyed this miracle of nature called life (probably few of them would make it to heaven). Even the dogs in my life, with their frisbee obsessions, have been a joy (I understand they are “non-grata” in heaven).

I seriously believe that heaven would be my hell.

person who doubted or was he just inquisative? When he did not understand something he questioned it, to get clarification. In todays standard, that person will be concidered dumb by most even the ones who did not understand themselves. Was it jealousy that gaved him the bad name of Doubting Thomas?

1) Religion is evil and should be banned.
2) The First Amendment bars the banning of religion.
3) The First Amendment must be repealed.

Valid or invalid?
Might there be unintended consquences to repealing the First Amendment.
