The Bible's author was God, He inspired many men to write his story. The days before the printing press was invented the Bible was printed by hand, it took many men many hours, it was a tedious job, that was taken very seriously by very religious people, that took their time to make sure to do it right. The
Bible isn't just some book, it is a very important religious book, therefore it was made sure to be done right.
Yes, there are many different religions. God made it that way, He Himself separated man across the face of the earth and changed their tongue so they would speak different languages. So therefore there are different religions. This doesn't make any one more right than the other. They all worship the same God, just in different ways. People just need to accept this.

This is my reason to believing in the bible okay. When you write a letter, do you write the letter, or does the pen? Obviously you do; the pen is merely the instrument you use. God used men as instruments to write His letter to humanity. They ranged from kings to common fishermen, but the 66 books of the bible were all given by inspiration of God. Proof that this book is supernatural can be seen with a quick study of its prophecies.
To those who say that it has changed throughout time, I say this. It has not changed. God has preserved His Word. In the spring of 1947, the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. These manuscripts were copies of large portions of the Old Testament, a thousand years older than any other existing copies. Study of the scrolls has revealed that the Bible hasn't changed in content down through the ages as many skeptics had surmised.
Anyone can now obtain access to computer programs that give the original Hebrew and Greek words, and the only "changes" have been made for clarity. For example the old English translation of 2 Corinthians 12:8 is "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice...," while a contemporary translation is "Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times..."

The Bible may have been written by "man" but it was written by the inspirtion of God (which mean He told man what to write.) I also know that the Bible is true because, why would man make a whole bunch of rules and regulations that he knows he cannot keep. Also all the Bible Prophesy that is in the Bible makes me a believer. How would man possibly know what will happen in the future and know what Heaven and Hell will be like if he has never been there. You think about it???

It is sad to know that somebody has not yet seen proof of God's existence. Where do you think the miracles come from. Just because you cannot see God, you can't touch Him, you can't hear Him, does not mean that He does not exist. Can you see love, can you hear it, can you touch it, no but it exists, the same with hate, feelings, thoughts, wind, and more. At my church He has in fact spoken. He speaks the Tongues ( I think that's how you say it in english but I am not sure). Seek Him, with your heart, and you will find Him. It is just a matter of Faith. The first Bible was created by God to tell all the miracles and stories about believers, nonbelievers, Jesus' Death for us, and future. seek God, and may God bless your heart.

If you go to the store, buy a $ 1 pack of gum and hand the cashier a 20. He gives you back 5 dollars.
You say " I gave you 20."
He says "I know, but I believe 20 - 6 = 0"
Are you going to say?, "well if that's what you believe I guess it's ok."
yes, I'll admit we have less facts ( Completely prove able truths) about truth of our origin, life after death ( or lack there of) and other such things then we do about math. However that doesn't mean there aren't facts, and that I can't be right about what I believe.
Isn't it arrogant of you to tell me I can't believe I'm right?
The very nature of what I believe requires me to believe that anyone who doesn't believe what is wrong. Why is it wrong for me to say someone who disagrees with me is wrong?
I still listen to what they believe and question what I believe, but it seems pretty silly to say two opposite answers to the same question are both correct.
Most believe a lot of the same things I believe, however any place they differ I think wrong until it's shown to me why wrong.

The bible was penned by men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit so therefore it is the word of God. People as yourself always disregard fulfilled prophesy. Only God knows the future and what he had told the prophets were his words and the evidence it was of God because what was said came to pass 100%. Some prophecies are yet to be fulfilled but the majority had already been fulfilled in Christ.

For those of YOU who Believe that the BIBLE is a bunch of HOG WASH, why don`t you OPEN it to REVELATIONS, AND READ, revelations and Danial tell you whats going on in the world TODAY, try chapter 7 of Danial on thru, to chapter 12, then go to chapter 6 of revelations, these are things that are now happening in the world today, and there ain`t NO MAN, 100s of years ago that is able to tell us these things would be going on, it has to be from GOD. you get on here and you say things you know nothing about, you don`t even study the Bible to see if its there, you think your smart, but the Bible confuses you, because you know not GOD, when you kow GOD then things become clear.

You probably shouldn't say "we" believe in the Bible, because the Bible says that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God", and you obviously don't believe that! Either that, or you don't believe that the God of the Bible is Who He says He is, capable of all things, and faithful to those who call upon His name!
Personal 'belief', as you call it, is how one begins a personal relationship. If you don't believe that the man or woman in your life is capable of loving you and treating you the way they say they can and do, the best you will have is a second hand superficial relationship founded in mistrust. Even moreso with God.

The Creator is our parent and friend. I am sure we are expected to treat each other as any loving parent would want their children to behave towards their siblings.
The Bible is a goo historical book, may even be inspired in some parts. It has been revised and added to and pruned to suit the ambitions of politicians and professional religious "leaders". Enjoy reading Holy texts, but act like a true parent would want.
