I don't think that any one religion would fit all three of your queries, so I will pick one religion for each.

For most tolerant, I would say Paganism. Each Pagan is encouraged to find his or her own path and way. Since Paganism is made up of many many different paths, diversity is a common thing, so you learn to not judge by differences. The times that a Pagan is judgmental about differences is when said Pagan has been judged a devil-worshiper or heretic by another religion which shall remain nameless.

For least hypocritical, I would say that the Amish would fit. They eschew the technological world in favor of their own simple lives. They're not tainted by love of money or social standing. I would think that the hypocritical aspect would be quite small.

I'm not sure what you meant by "most productive," so I took it to mean "most beneficial to society." For that, I would say that Judaism would fit. The Jews kept knowledge for us. They had to read and write in order to understand their religion, so they kept books, journals, and records for everyone who couldn't read, which included most of the world at one time. It is also through the hardships of the Jews that the world has learned some of its most important and precious lessons, such as "absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Buddhism... as far as 'productivity', what's that mean? Buddhists are primarily self-sufficient and supportive of any belief system. How many wars do you find throughout history attributed to any 'aggressiveness' of this group of seekers of Truth; however, the majority of both, wars and deaths throughout history were caused by the most self-promoting, self-righteous religion(s) of the world. Guess which one? Oops, perhaps there might be more than just one or two... nevermind.

Hmmmm.... I'd have to say Ba'hai, they built the Lotus Temple in india, a very beautiful building that attracts more people than the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel tower! They also succeed in being peaceful and believe that all religions lead to the same higher power. I also thing Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Confucianism are up there too.

I am not Ba'hai, I am Buddhist

Religions that are "tolerant" and also isolationist aren't "productive" in the sense of philanthropic causes. Buddhism is tolerant, but it has no history of setting up schools and hospitals. Same with Hinduism. Christianity has a checkered past, but it also has moral commands to feed the poor, clothe the homeless, etc. Thus universities, hospitals, and shelters are often Christian founded --Harvard, St.____'s Hospital, Red Cross, etc.

Relatedly, a religion can't be "hypocritical" if it has no moral criterion to fail.

In other words, is better to "do" unto other others as you would have them do unto you or "don't do" unto others as you would not have them do unto you?

Definitely NOT Christianity. Their doctrine teaches peace & turning the other check but once given the opportunity they oppressed others for their beliefs as quickly as the Romans used to...inquisitions, indulgences, crusades, witch burnings... The list goes on & on.

I would have to say that Buddhists seem to be the most tolerant.
