A bigot is one who has a negative opinion or attitude towards another person either of different race, religion or sexual orientation for no other reason other than a belief in their own superiority.

A bigot is someone who attributes their thoughts on another person to on one of several things: Race, Religion, Nationality, Sexual Orientation or something along that line.
For instance if you feel the need to tell someone your friend is gay, you might consider that an act of bigotry. If he or she is your "gay friend" then you are a bigot.
Assuming all Christians are this or that, or all Muslims are this or that, is bigotry.
To call someone white trash is bigotry.

A person who has hatred towards a group or groups of specific people. For example, anti-Semites are bigoted towards Jewish people. White supremacists are bigoted towards all non-White races.

Sakura, no, it's spelled with one "g". If you try looking up "biggot" at dictionary.com, it will tell you that it doesn't exist and that perhaps you were trying to look up "bigot" with one "g".

or someone who is not open minded.
