Okay, if you believe in Jesus Christ, you believe in all the other doctrines that come with it. Saying that the bible is not history and shouldn't be taken literally is denying the credibility and foundations of Christ and Christianity all together. Without the bible Christianity is nothing. So, how can you believe in evolution? Evolution is the slow change of creatures throughout many millennia. Why would this automatically just be limited for animals and not humans? What is your justification?

i posted a question "was he right" three questions ago.
basicly it stated that a bishop in a mormon curch asked me to leave while i was there with my wife for her to be blessed on an upcoming surgery. i was asked to leave because of a pendant of a pentegram i wear as it is part of my religion. i am a pagan my wife is mormon.
now check this out.
i went and got my mail today and in there was a letter from the church saying that they had missed the tiethings that my wife normally gives. now they know that she does not work and that all money comes from me. (it was hand written by the bishop himself) what in the world are they thinking? now after kicking me out of their church they expect me to send them money.(it was addressed to both of us) what gives them the right to embarass me and then ask for money?!?!
my wife is currenly looking for a new church by the way.

Matthew 25:6 Right in the middle of the there arose a cry. HERE IS THE BRIDEGROOM, ! Be on your way to meet him.

There are many false prophets today, so how can you tell which one is true?

Does the Bible say there will be any true prophets in the last days?

Will the true prophet fulfill prophecy by saying, 'MEET the Bridegroom?'

What will the 2 prophets in Rev. 11 be saying so that the world is joyful of their 'death?' vs7-10..

Why are their bodies not laid in a tomb if they are 'killed? vs.9

Why is there a great earthquake in their hour? and many are killed and the rest of the earth become frightened and gove GOD glory?

Amos 9:8 Look! The eyes of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom and he will certainly annihilate it from upon the surface of the ground. Nevertheless, I will not completely
annihilate the house of Jacob.'

11) In that day I (GOD) shall raise the BOOTH of David that is fallen, and I shall repair their breaches.

Virtually in tact skelton. Ape-ish upperbody, but anatomy clearly shows that it was bipedal (walks erect).

"The lower part of the body, which includes the foot, the shin bone and the thigh bone clearly shows us that this species was an upright walking creature," he told Reuters.

"But some of the features from the upper part of the body, including the shoulder blade and arms are more ape-like. The fingers are long and curved which suggest she might have been able to swing through trees."http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060920/sc_nm/ethiopia_fossil_dc

I won't go into detail because I'm ashamed to admit it, but there is this constant temptation that I fight every day of my life. It is keeping me from being happy. I try to fight it, but it'll just pop into my head and I'm back to square one.

I have tried praying over it, and I know that God has helped me out tremendously, but he hasn't let me have victory over it. Sometimes it makes me want to just kill myself to escape from it. Sometimes I feel that's the only escape. Then when I get to that point, God always brings me back.

How can I pray more effectively for him to help me? I just don't know what to do anymore.

I'm putting this in the religious section because I'm a Christian, and would like to see what fellow Christians, and anyone else can answer too, :) see that they can change in themselves to make a better marriage. It's so easy for us to see what the other person in our relationship needs to change. Sometimes it's harder to look in ourselves and see the faults that we too have. Sometimes though we need to see our imperfections to realize it's alright for our spouses to be imperfect too. If you could, or already are working on a change to be a better spouse, what is it? And how would you/are you going about doing it? I just love to see marriages where people are working at the best for the relationship and the other person, and would love to know how you make your marriage work with the changes beginning with you. :) Thanks.

how can a politician like me get millions of people to die for something of no benefit to them? I KNOW! By telling him that he will be eternally blessed after he dies! So....Men of the council I have an idea, we will make a very persuasive book that will answer the unanswerable questions and force belief through fear of the unknown!

HERE HERE!

Now, let's get started.

10- You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of your god.
9- You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from lesser life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt
8- You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Trinity god
7- Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" -- including women, children, and trees!
6- You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and to life and then ascended into the sky.

Jesus said: "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst....."

A large % of the population in Congo is Christian. The country also has world-wide one of the highest % of deaths caused by starvation.

Somehow those words of Jesus seem kinda arrogant to me, I don't know why...

Samuel 15:3 (New International Version)

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.

Hosea 13:16 (King James Version)

Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up

Is this realy the Christian way. Why Am I lead to believe the bible is good and the Koran is bad?

I try not to prejudge but the text above should be burnt in my view.

Of the three major western religions, Judaism is clearly the oldest (by 3000 years compared to Christianity). Yet there are approximately two billion Christians, one billion Muslims and only 15 million Jews. So the question is, relative to the other two (younger) religions, why are there so few Jews?

BETTER or WORSE? Which would be better or worse?
To have to wear bright orange cover-all's for clothing all the time, (prison style)
or
To have a large vicious loud monkey living on your back, but only when you are in public?

The coveralls could only be taken off for bathing.
The monkey would eat, sleep, drink, crap, and all on your back, and has an awful attitude, especially to anyone but you, and must be put on your back whenever you leave your house.
