I am just going with the old testemant because came first and was given separate from everything else. Plus if you believe that God wrote part of it then he must exist. (I think missionarys who preach the new testament preach believe or you will go to hell. I am Jewish so I think the newtestament is from God) I am also not sure that it completely deals with what happens after death.

Right they also put in parts saying that God spoke to a complete Generation of people (Every Jew at Sinai) and got everyone to believe that. Not to mention all the other miricals like the 10 plagues, the leaving egypt, the fact that there ansestors were prophets, the splitting of the red sea, Manna falling from the sky, and a cloud set over them guiding them through the desert.

Then for fun they made up rules like not wearing wool and linin or after being in the same room as a dead person one must sprinkle the ashes of a red Heifer (a certian type of cow). To seem more wise.

They also wrote in parts about them commiting autrocities like the building of (mooby) the golden calf.

The bible was written by God thru men.2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
saying that the Bible is God's word is the same as saying that the Bible is inspired by God. Just stating in the Bible that it is inspired by God does not make it so. Anyone can write a book and claim divine inspiration. The Bible does make that claim, but it also backs it up with truths that stand the test of time. No other book has been or could be written by 40 different writers in 3 different languages in several different countries over hundreds of years and yet be completely harmonious and without error or contradiction.
