2,000 years ago they still thought the earth was flat and we were the center of the universe...BTW, if Eve came from Adams rib, would'nt they share the same DNA ? And would'nt that make them more like brother and sister ? Think about it...

Why is it that creationism and evolutionism cannot coexist? Now work with me...

What if "God" were slightly less omnipotent than described in the Bible. Let's say "his" powers were not quite up to creating every type of life form, but he was able to take the basic building blocks of life that were available on an already formed planet and "jumpstart" evolution just a bit.
I can take all the ingredients that it takes to make a cake, mix them up, and bake properly, to make a great cake, but that does not make me Betty Crocker. I'm sure her first cake wasn't all that great but in time she was able to tweak that recipe into something greater than the sum of it's ingredients.
Perhaps "God" is like that, giving life a start and "tweaking the recipe" along the way.

Also why would God talk about how DNA works?Do we really need to know the answer to that? Would it help us to be holy and connected with God? um idonnno n i don't think so

No but he created the DNA and gave the people that can explain it the knowledge to do so. Do you think that DNA just evolved? We have always had DNA, just not the knowledge to explain it .

Jews believe that every part of how the world works is in the Torah. That everything is in the first letter Bet. Now I don't know how to extract it but I do believe it is in there.

Of course not. He wouldn't have to, He's God. And the term "DNA" was created much later. ...to make it brief.

Nope, why does he need to , he made it. Could somethign more complex then anythign we have ever dreamed of come about by an axciddent and random chance. I think not. Why do we only use 5% of our brain if we are evolving, would we use more than 100%
