Our bodies may have evolved, but our minds and souls were created. People who do not believe that humans have consiousness above and beyond animals, are placing themselves at a similar status with animals.

If were are not from God, then what purpose is life at all? Why then should human life be considered sacred in this society?

I don't expect him to explain but I don't understand why christians go into a frenzy about it. The whole evolution is just some sort of plan that God is trying to fool us with....he is testing our faith. That is what my theory is about that topic.

Every species on earth has evolved over the centuries. It has to, to survive. Humans have always been their 'own species'. We were not apes. We may have been shorter, hairier and our brains were childlike. We 'resembled' apes because we are very similiar. But we have always been seperate beings, meant to intelligently evolve because our brains are and always were different than other mammels. I repeat, we were not apes. We were humans that have evolved from early man not from apes.
