I was saved on March 4,1999 and still saved. Not going to be lost either. Jesus holds me in his hands and Jesus is in his Father's hand, and plus I am sealed with the Holy Spirit. What protection he has for his children. I wished the lost can say that.

Most of the content in the Bible is so unrealistic that I just cannot bring myself to be live it. I used to feel guilty for this but then I realized that I have done nothing wrong. There are millions of different religions in the world and no human being truly knows which one is correct. I'm not going to say that Christianity-or any other religion-is the right or wrong path. It only matters what is right for you. I am not saying that I personally be live that all religions are correct- I have my own opinions- I just choose not to enforce them on others. To each his own.

I am not a Christian. My beliefs tend to lean more toward the old Celtic or Pagan belief system. The reason is, my parents made sure my sister and I were raised learning much about many different religions so we could make an educated choice when we were old enough. My sister chose Christianity, because it fit with her beliefs and I chose Paganism because I feel that is right for me.

I hear a lot of discussion between Muslims and Christan and I didn't accept that the god is/are three , and he married? or not .and has a son . then he leave his son to his enemy ?for what scarify to forgive your sin ? so you can go to the heaven .
now you destructed the world but you will go to the heaven????
that is insane .Islam said if you do a sin as small as an atom it will be recorded and if you do a good thing as smaller as one atom will be recorded , also in war don't cut a tree , don't kill women, old men or children don't destruct a home don't attack a church or any one in side it , don,t attack at night or early at morning oooooh a lot ,no space. it is a civilized religion which can reach to your heart and brain.

quite simple. i am baptised roman catholic, i believe in god, and think if you live by the bible, its a good life. i dont however abide with the rules, i choose my own path, its up to god to judge me at the gates!!!! if there is a god, he must understand that humans are to complex and deep to just live by a set of codes.
On the other hand over the past 2 thousand years 99% of wars have been caused by religion. 9/11, all the terror problems, im from UK, and tensions are rising. IS religion a good thing?? Is it no different then too superpowers, like in the cold war trying to spread thier ideologys for power???
i hope not. If you are religious, whatever religion, have your faith

No I am not a christian. Simply cause it's my right to believe in what ever I choose and god /Jesus and the bible are not things/people I believe in. The bible was written way too long ago and written by man not by god his self. I can think for my self and make my own decisions in life with out having a bible do it for me. Plus there are way to many Christians who try to push their religion on others and not show respect for others. That is just not something I would want to be. Thanks for the offer but no thanks!

I am not a christian coz Jesus is not God.
Jesus is not God coz that concept of God wouldnt fit in a universe. So if there were no other creatures in this universe than us, maybe it wouldnt sound that bad. But when u meet with an alien and u would have to explain to him that the creator of this universe is human...I bet he wouldnt agree with u right?
lol
Any way...I am a muslim and God is just something that is beyond our understanding and make Him fit in a human body is really offensive to His infinite power.

no....not a christian at this Yahoo ID.
WHy because, I'm not? I discovered the people that currently follow Christ in my neck of the woods are not christians themselves. They are habitual lemmings that follow each other for protection in numbers.
my mom would punish me as a child to read the whole bible cover to cover and not allow me any reprieve. The Youth Minister had a hormonal pregnancy and thought her husband was cheating on her with me. Other church goers supported her, when I was 15 and not even remotely interested in her man. Church Outings always proved adventurous when I was picked on by other churches' youth and even disciplined for my actions of defense when I finally grew a spine and fought back. Not to mention, finding people who really wanted to attend church and bringing them in only to watch was the preppy snobby churchgoers ridiculed every single wayward friend I brought in.
If that's the way Christ's followers behave, I want nothing of it. I found other things to occupy my thoughts and mold my reactions to the society around me.

I was raised Christian, and had a very ordinary childhood. But even when I was little it all seemed "made up" to me. I think it is just as hard to believe in Christianity as it would to believe in Greek Gods or any other mythology. Science and tangible proof comfort me more.

To Angel Eye - I'm Catholic, which is the first true Church of Christ. We ARE Christians. I think you need to start going to church kiddo and learn your faith.
Why am I a Christian?
Because never have I felt as loved as when I let Jesus into my heart. He truly is the light, the truth and the way.
God bless!

Nope, atheist. There's no evidence for your beliefs any more than there is for believing in Zeus or leprechauns.
Don't know why people believe that stuff. Prayer has never been shown to work any better than random chance or mere coincidence. With all the disasters in the world, plus hunger, poverty and disease, the notion of a loving god seems rather silly.
