even though top many evolutionists, including but not limited to Sir Fred Hoyle and Michael Jay Gould, have said "The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way is comparable with the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein." PS, if Evolution is true why would we have a huge percentage of brain power -- perhaps 90% -- that we will never use. (Evolution presumes traits arise for usefullness)

No offense here, and I know you have the right to worship however. But, clearly speaking, the Christian gospels were written around 50-90 a.d, they clearly show Jesus making DIVINE claims about himself. We have proof that they have remained un-changed since at least 120 a.d. Yet, the KORAN presents a different gospel of Jesus written(edited) over 500 years later, why??

Arrests and crackdown have already occured.

There are times in history, when pragmatic Buddists, put aside smiplistic ideas of humanity, and fought off the Islamic hordes. Todays Buddist, simply gets beheaded by the Islamist, and Muslims wisely recognized that in Thailand, even though they are a minority, can easily overrun the pacifict Buddist.

Their coup was bloodless...Buddist put up no fight. The Islamist insurgency of South Thailand, who have been beheading Buddists monks for sport, is rejoicing over their victory.

Naturally, the US has condemed the Islamic Military coup...but like last month, when Muslims savaged Somolia and sacked the country, theres not much they can do.

Its a great tragedy cause I respect buddism...Im agnostic but respect it nonethless. On the other hand, I loathe the self righteous ignorance hatefilled disease which the horrific warlord invented long ago...ohhh...sorry....not being pc...sorrrry.

Also, not to mention how the Jews have been persecuted for centuries and hated by the world (examples: holocaust & Middle East conflict) yet in 1948 they became a state again. No other culture in human history has been able to be dispursed like the Jews and yet return to their land and become a state once again. This was also prediction of the Jewish people being scattered - Eze 6:8 but yet returning.

I'm sorry I know this sounds bad, but sometimes I really get tired of Christianity. We are taught to smile and stay positive....just trust in Jesus they say, but take a look at the world we live in...its in total chaos. Sometimes it feels like God is not even there. I see countless situations where it seems as though evil wins over good. I'm told to pray, but half of the time the things I pray for come to pass after months of pray, if at all. And then I wonder did it happen by coincidence or did God actually answer my pray. I feel so bad saying some of this stuff because I truly believe I love God deep down inside. I guess I just needed to vent.

afterall its a peachy belief system - you go to heaven meet all ur loved ones again - float around in a constant state of bliss.

It is certainly a much easier sell than atheism - ie your body decays and u cease to exist.

i know christianity is nonsense but i sometimes wish i was deluded enough to believe it. Are there any tablets i can get to make myself deluded enough to buy into it?

CONFESSION: I DID.

I thought I was clever, just coming up with what I thought was, creative answers to a subject I knew little about.

I mean, we can all agree that anyone who makes claims about something they know little about, is a fool, like I was...fair? Weve all experienced it right? Youre a mechanic, and some guy pretends to be knowledgable, claiming all kinds of things, when his ignorance is naked in from of you.

Admitt it....thats what youve been doing. Actually, the first person who honestly declares it...convincingly...i dont feel any sarcasm, I will give the 10 points.

Learn about evolution before you speak about it.
