I attended a Friday service at the Mosque last week. My husband has converted from Christianity to Muslim, and I was interested in learning more about Muslims. I was wondering how the women pray and what are they saying when they pray at the Mosque. I saw women put their hands by their faces and over their chest before bowing down on the mats. What do you think of this? I think it's tacky and rude. Why can't we use both merry Christmas and happy holidays. I just don't get it why they are trying to take God out of everything!! I understand the religious views of all but why do we have to be punished for our beliefs in God. It is not impressing our beliefs in God on people just by saying Merry christmas, at least in my eyes. I am not slamming others religious views, I am baptist and I am respectful of all religions.

What made you choose to go forth and lead a life based on a manuscript written by men centuries ago? Did you see God, Jesus or a miracle in your lifetime to make you believe? Or did you have a huge hole in your life and you decided to fill it with something other people told you to instead of drugs and sex and fun?

Also, why do you wish to convince other people? Atheists don't go around with bumper stickers saying God doesn't exist or Jesus was a human or whatever.

someone posted this on my question earlier i find it funny since the devil never did any wrong in the bible to begin with. the bible god is the real evil not satan sorry satan never did wrong and i could prove it if i had it my way but thats just me.

What advice would you give the believers?
What adivce would you give the bible thumpers who come in here and try to convert everyone?

My adivce would be to go do their bible thumping elsewhere cause I have a right to believe what I want and they can do the same. Trying to push their religon on me is only going to make me hate their religion even more.

Fake-Christians try to nullify laws eternally given by Jesus in Old Testament. Jesus broadened the Laws in the New Covenant--never nullified them. He was even stricter and said that our righteousness must surpass the Heathen Jews.He clearly said in John 10:35 that the Laws cannot be changed. But nowadays the Devil deceived a lots of Christians to think that they are above the Law and needn't impose them. But this is the sole reason of wide-spread sexual immorality
and rape in most traditionally Christian countries. We should first atleast try to impose the following
2 laws for the pevention of vice andpromotion of sexual virtue in our Country and Society after coming to power.

A lot of people, through out history have claimed to know when Jesus would return.

All of them were also liars, and frauds. Usually trying to make money by selling books.

BUT, some people, especially in this forum, still guess. It isn't biblical to guess, and it provides false hope to those who await.

Regardless of if it was gods will or not, Jesus went willingly to his death. He had proir knowlage of it, but he stayed in the garden and was captured, knowing that it would result in his death. Thats SUICIDE! Now I want to know if he went to hell for this MORAL SIN?

I take pride in living the life of a Mystic, given this lifestyle, many I have come in contact with especially those involved heavily with religious bodies either condemn me to hell or try to convert me to there belief system. I however am secure in my convictions. Since I believe in eternal truths and the law of allowance I would find the same feat difficult. I never attempt to convert others.why can't others do the same? When responding to my question please be objective and don't utilize doctrine as the source for your guideline atleast while responding to my question as this will defeat the purpose of me asking:-)
