What advice would you give the believers?
What adivce would you give the bible thumpers who come in here and try to convert everyone?
My adivce would be to go do their bible thumping elsewhere cause I have a right to believe what I want and they can do the same. Trying to push their religon on me is only going to make me hate their religion even more.

"blahblahblah " you dont have to read their questions. They email you some of wich is hate mail. You post a question in any section and they answer your question but most cant seem to do so with out pushing their religion on others.

My advice would be to point out that there are very few people who are converted by all this bible thumping name calling. Personally, I find that religious people who quietly live their lives with conviction, but without preaching, go a lot farther to converting me than the countless others who inform me that I'm going to hell.

Do good things because it is morally right and not because you expect a reward in "Heaven" or you feel obliged to do them. Be kind and tolerant to others and remember that you're not the one who will ultimately determine where they (or you) will spend eternity (if anywhere). Quit focusing on some eternal salvation and live for today...this is the only life you are guaranteed so have fun and be kind to others.

I want them to stay. I like to be informed of the newest lies and fairy tales they are perpetuating. I enjoy a debate with the little parrots. At worst, it's brainless entertainment. At best, our looking it in the eye is helpful for the lost souls who need logical answers. I believe that Agnostics, Athiests and other non-Christians here are doing community service.

my advice to the christian bible thumbers would be this.
take your hare literature and throw it away and go look for god in your heart and look for some thing that is more peaceful like buddhism for example or even try really reading the bible and stop listening to the church preist or minister. i think they would be better off leaving the rest of us non christians alone and finding some thing more peaceful than spreading hate

We have a right to speak about god to eachother in this section as well as you have the right to speak of nothing to eachother.
You are right no one should push religon on you, however we can pray that God will bring you to know him.

I cannot give them any advice. Their minds are made up. And that is OK. Just stop telling me I am going to hell for not believing.

They have the right to be here too. It's the double standard. Just because you don't agree doesn't make them have to leave. Plus, who would be left to argue with?
If there's nothing I can tell them to convince them otherwise, it goes likewise for myself.

Live your life as a Christian in front of them. Be honest, kind, loving, real & forgiving.
Trust God with everything in your life and when they see
you living a peacefilled, joyfilled, abundant life, they will want
to know how they can have that too.
