Why do religious types go on about us not being able to disprove the existence of God? Surely it is for the theorist to prove his/her theory, rather than for others to disprove it. I can't disprove the existence of tapdancing unicorns, but that doesn't mean that I, or anyone else, should believe in them.

Why not stop the fighting, muslims r fighting with christians who r fighting with jews. Why dont we all just forget all the wars and terrorists activity. let bush blair saddam bin laden play there stupid game. wat does that have to do with us. why dont we all become friends. I personally am a muslim and my very best friend who i trust with everything is a christian. And people say muslims r terrorists. if that was true, we would have all been assigned a house and by now we would have blown half the world. that is not true. And i could tell u. that 97% of muslims dont agree with 9/11. I personally donated money to the hospitals and the poor people who their parents died. i personally think osama bin laden is a terrorist. The only problem is that 75% of arabs and muslims are poor. I bet they would have stood beside u if they had a computer and an internet connection. Personally., im an egyptian muslim and all though i am not american, i say, GOD BLESS AMERICA. so what do u say, friends?

I have seen a lot of people on Y!A R&S say, somewhat bizarrely, "I'm not religious, but I do believe in god" or "I'm not religious, but I have a relationship with Jesus" or some such thing. Is this an indication that people are becoming embarassed to be called 'religious', due to the negative connotations of religion, even though they hold beliefs which cannot reasonably be described as anything other than religious?

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

If so - why do so many bible believing people try to carry out the law. Wouldn't it make more sense to accept the fact that Jesus Christ fulfilled the law and live in the grace of God?

What are your thoughts? (Please no lame answers)

Believers- Why do you accept and follow God? Why do you think others choose to reject Him?

Nonbelievers- If you were once a believer, why did you accept and follow God then, and what made you reject Him? If you never believed, why not? Why do you think others choose to accept and follow God?

Undecided- Where you ever a believer or nonbeliever? If so or not, what made you choose the middle ground? Why do you think others choose to either accept or reject God?

Come on, that drunkard knocked up his defenseless daughters. anyone knocking up their daughters in a drunken state ( or any state) would be jailed, castrated, hung, whatever by the very people who venerate this dirtbag in the bible in today's society. Rightly so! And nobody would buy his story that his daughters "Took advantage of him by seducing HIM in a drunken stupor.... What B.S>>>

As many of you know, wearing a scarf is obligatory in Islam. A guy recently asked his girlfriend whom he was about to marry to start wearing a scarf. They broke up several times because of this since in their country, the religion is rather secular so it would be impossible for her to advance in her career and get a job. in the end she told him that she would consider the issue and finally make the desicion. as soon as she said that he asked her if she would let him have another wife! She broke up immediately. Did she do a right thing????
