its not realy or a thing about respect. more a thing of misory. people dont like the things going on in thair lives cause it makes them feel terable about themselves.so they think it will make them feel better if they do things to other people to make them feel the same way. sometimes they dont realize why or that they are even doing it. as for who is responsible no one person.

It's "human nature" to be afraid of being hurt, offended or contradicted. We like to believe that we are right (good?).
I believe that's why we tend to look at the "other's" mistakes before we correct our own, which leads to distrust and eventually hate. We are not considerate by "nature". But what if we were?
If someone hurts you there is usually a reason behind it, unless it's an accident.
Think about what you may have done to give the "other" a reason to hurt you. - and apologize for "your" offence!
Lets say you stepped on someone's toe (actually or verbally). Our "natural" reaction is to retaliate. Remember that this comes "naturally" to you as well as to the "other". But in our "civilized" society we normally overcome the urge to retaliate and apologize, especially if it happened by accident.
If we perceive the "offence" as careless or intentional we are more likely to retaliate. We are not perfect! Neither is the "other". If we don't try to understand and forgive the "hurt" we are starting a chain of retalliations - a war of sorts!
In my opinion we could stop arguing and even fighting wars if only everybody were to use understanding, compassion and forgiveness.
Retaliation amplifies the conflict and produces more hurt.
Turning the other cheek ends the conflict and helps to heal the hurt.
Just imagine! If ALL humans would willingly (not because they have been told) act out of compassion and forgiveness toward the "others" there truly would be peace on Earth!
Jesus made it very clear that the 2 first and foremost commandments are:
to love God with ALL our being and above ALL "things", and to love ALL our fellow men & women, even if the may be our enemy. Any laws or "interpretations" deviating from those two are invalid according to Jesus.
I have no doubt that Jesus taught the right way. By the way, He was not the only one who taught compassion AND forgiveness as rules for life. But I believe He did it most clearly.
Here from the Q'ran:
"If any show patience and forgive, that truly would be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs." Qur'an: Sura 42:43 (Counsel)

You must be young to think this is new. Check out your history and note this ---hatered is always stired up for the purposes of financial gain. If the world made a law that people could only own a certain amount like 100X what the poorest person has then instead of wars we'd be trying to raise every ones standard of living. Wonder how much less each of us would be paying in taxes if there were no wars.

Hate is instilled in us so we don't work together. The only way to keep the system going is by making sure we don't join to finish with it. So, the best way is to make everyone feel the entire rest of humanity is our enemy (because they're a different race, religion, sex, nationality, etc., or because they're here to take our jobs, our properties, our money, etc.)
Of course, I do not think that's true. I'm only describing a phenomenon as I see it, and I'm trying to give you an answer. I don't buy the answer, but there are still too few of us who don't.

Greed
Material concerns are uppermost on peoples minds these days, the industrial revolution, coupled with a throw away society, tends towards a "don't give a toss" attitude, everything is replaceable.
The media merely and society add to this

Some people don't get it. We were made in God's image which means that we should all try to be nice to one another. you know the golden rule in the BIBLE treat other people how you want to be treated. We all fall short of the Glory of God but we need to show people the love of Jesus through those who follow Christ.

I have to say that the reason for all the hate is that no one seems to know what the actual "truth" is anymore.
