Yes I beleive and followed exactly what the Bible said to be saved,
in Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
and that Name is Jesus

So on Easter, Jesus hands out candy to all the good little boys & girls, and then goes to hide in a cave. When he wakes up three days later, if he sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter! That's how it goes, right?
Did you personally witness anything that Jesus did? Did you realize that Easter "coincidentally" falls very near the Spring Solstice and was one of the twisted ways that Christians converted the Pagans?
If you don't even understand the real history behind your own religion, how can you pretend to know anything about Jesus' supposed return?
All you have is a storybook full of two millenia worth of stories that have been twisted to accomodate those in power. That you fell for it shows that you are an ignorant, pathetic sheep with no identity to call your own.
Consensus and belief DO NOT make something true! You belong to the Hive Mind known as Christianity, and the sooner you get "Raptured" the better. Leave the world to the sensible people.

By your logic, you should also believe in the Pink Unicorn of Osiris. She died long ago and will come back one day. You have everything to lose to not try and see the truth in the above statement; but you have everything to gain once you find out this truth....

There is no truth because there is nothing to back it, it is a belief, plain and simple. I find it hard to believe that God sent a single perfect being to the planet to try to save all of humankind from its imperfectness - it just completely lacks in reason and logic. He needed to simply have made us all perfect. The Jesus story suggests that God erred in creating us, thus the reason for "sending" Jesus.

I don't know why people don't believe. I do with my whole heart and if more people took the time for a little religion in their life, this world would be a much better place. At least in my opinion. You are right what is there to lose in believing. You do have everything to gain! God Bless You and all of the other believers!

For you and all those on this board who agree with you, more power to you. However belief is not something you turn and off like a light switch. either you believe or you don't. I don't. I could go through the motions, go to church, say prayers, but if there is a God and he is all powerful wouldn't he know that I was faking it?

If you know that Easter is on Sunday, the first day of the week why do most worship on that day instead of the day given in the Bible?

everything to lose and everything to gain. according to whom? that may apply to you since you believe in what you do, but that doesnt apply to those who dont believe in the first place.
as for why people dont believe, well, I cant speak for anyone else, but i dont believe because its a religion called christianity. and i believe christianity was invented by a group of men who wanted to control other people.

Allah rose to heaven. The Jews are God's people. Buddha carved a deep path for his followers.
You have evidence of truth in those religions, too. Why are you pushing yours when you're not sure what's up there?

He did not rise on Easter.
Easter is not and never has been a Christian observance.
Nowhere in the Bible was anyone ever commanded to create an observation for Jesus birth or ressurection. Only for his final meal.
These traditions were the prodigy of apostate Christians who adopted pagan practices, then attempted to give them Christian meaning. All who participate stand opposed to God, and thus are disapporoved and subject for destruction.
