It's bad enough to smell it, let alone hear it in a quiet library. But feel free if you want everyone to think you're a nasty foul pig with no manners. You might as well squat and take a dump right there too. Well you're at it why not throw it at people too since you don't care how others feel.

For shizzle. Just make yourself scarce IMMEDIATELY. You never know if it will carry a pricetag (i.e. stink). If it's C.O.D. you don't want to be associated - they may revoke your library card.
At school, it's cool, but be prepared for the backlash. At school someone will do a poll until they identify the exact person it emanated from. Be the first person to yell "Ewww!" in total disgust and look around at the people around you. Sometimes this works, but the savvy kid in the corner may call you on it.

Sure, as long as nobody hears it. I mean, if you can walk down one aisle, when someone is on the other side, in the next, and quietly let it out, then walk away without them seeing you, and it drifts over...it's a riot!!
It only sucks to be the only one, and a man in an elevator....have one screech out...and stink...then immediatly have the door open and a gorgeous woman gets in. I would jump out no matter what floor.
And as for school...if everyone else hears it, you're in for it. George Carlin said it the best..."A fart is sh*t without the mess".

We are ll created (at least physiologically) very similiar. We all fart. I'd sy it would be best to try to be in a restroom to fart, but if you can't - go ahead and fart. Don;t make a spectacle about it, and try to keep it quiet of you can, but if you gotta fart - fart.

It would be rude if people are around. Go to some remote corner if you can't get to the restroom. It's definitely funny, though. ;-)

Sure, if you use a stout wooden chair, you should get quite a loud report -- If you then shout SHHHHH you may get away with it.
