John 20:1 Says Mary Magdalene went, Luke 24 includes Joana, Mary the mother of James and other women, Mark chapter 16 includes someone named Salome, Matthew only includes the two Marys. Which just goes to show that things witnessed by different people get told in different ways. The most important woman was Mary Magdalene because it was this Mary(it is thought) that Jesus had saved from being stoned for adultery.

Mary Magdalene and the other mary was at the grave site in
Matthew 27:61
Matthew 28:1 Mary Magdalene and the other mary came back but he was gone.
In verse 9 he appeared to them. So he appeared to the women after his resurrection first before the men.

there were multiple events probably rolled into several short summaries and they may have gone more than once
Mary Magdalene was one but there was a large group
The descriptions in the four gospels will be short summaries of possibly several events where Mary goes with a group of woman, and comes back possibly herself or with Peter and John
Luke who has more details about women than the other gospels give at least 5
10It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them
some othere gospels sometimes focus on 1 or a couple women for emphasis and it was an acceptable writing practice of the day

There in lies the way to discover what is true. The Bible never says that it is giving the whole storey, yet we want the whole story so we believe it does but fact is like watching a car accident there are different points of view. How many people were hung on crosses that day Answer we do not know but at least5.

We do not have information about that. Mary Magdalene was there when Jesus appeared to her, so she was the reported first woman.
