1) God is the One who created you. He deserves the credit, respect, & thanks. In that regard, He is jealous. If you have children, you expect them to show you more respect than any other person, simply because you are their parent (you brought 'em in this world...)
2) Nowhere does the Bible say God only likes Jews. They are the chosen race from which He would eventually draw their Messiah (Jesus). There are many instances of Him NOT liking them, however, like when they were disobedient.
Further, the Israelites were never instructed to "kill all enemy of Jews." When a Pagan city was to belong to the Israelites, the city was given every opportunity to repent (see Nineva, Sodom & Gomorrah). The inhabitants could have lived peacefully beside the Israelites. Those who chose not to live under God's laws were then overthrown. There was never a simple, willy-nilly destruction of non-Jews, simply beacuse they were non-Jews.
This is much like how the UN imposes sanctions on nations who are threatening other societies.

In the ancient world, most religions were polytheistic. So what the Israelites were being warned about was worshipping the gods of other religions. Times were different then. Belief in the gods of other religions was considered acceptable (if not always preferable) to many belief systems. The God of the Israelites did not approve of this behaviour, and thus the warning is against belief in other deities--whether they exist or not. He (God) is jealous, but I think mostly of the Israelites not paying attention to Him.
I have no idea how to answer your second question. Even as a non-Jew (heck, I'm an atheist), I can't quite figure out what what it is you are asking.

Part 1: Whatever you worship other than God, is your god. It's not a true diety, it's just taken the place of the love and attention you would be giving to God.
Part 2: God went on to say that foreigners and non-Jews could convert to the Jewish faith. You can be born a Jew or you can become Jewish when you practice, believe their faith. An enemy is someone that means you harm, not someone that doesn't follow your faith. God loves us all.

For your first question, there's no way to know if there are other gods until we die. For myself, I don't think there are; Only one, no incarnations.
For the second question, why should a Jew believe that? Yes, the bible said that they marched down Jericho and he saved the Jews in many other ways, but why doesn't he smite Hezbollah, or why didn't he smite Hitler?
Good for you for asking questions about things you don't understand, but many religious questions don't have answers.

Jealous for your singleness of heart. There are plenty of Biblical admonitions to serve as examples. Don't be lukewarm, In all your ways acknowledge him, don't bow before graven images, etc.
As far as events concerning the Jews, Rom 15:4 says that what happened to the Jewish nation was as an example to us:
"For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." KJV

#1 God is a jealous God, So it is not only speaking of false god's but any thing that you put before him, money, car, spouse, job, material thing's that stop you from letting God be first in your life. That is your God........ #2 Who said God only likes Jew's? He loves us all and the Jews are his chosen people but we all are connected under the gential's, We are one in the eye's of God man make the race issue.......

First, when you chose to question Bible and God, you are on a wrong track. God is to be accepted or not, that simple.
