According to the signs given in the Bible we are most definitely in the end times. See Daniel 7, Matthew 24, Revelation (the whole thing). I know people have said this for many, many years but with the way terrorism and wars and the economy are going things are shaking up right now for the final events. Yes. One of the major stumbling block was Isreal becoming a nation again which was in 1948. It is said in the Bible that the end will come during that generation that sees this event. A biblical generation is widely believed to be between 70-80 years. With that in mind I would figure that the end should happen sometime between now and 2028. Are you ready for it???

I've heard that it will end sometime between 2011 and 2016 because of that ancient Mayan calander (which is sopposed to end in 2016) and the HUGE solar storm brewing in the sun. If that solar storm hits it could reverse Earth's magnetic field and the ENTIRE world will be without power...

We´re in the end times since the apparition of life in the primordial oceans. We could end up anytime by an asteroid or a war, global heating, glaciations and the like. But we´re still here... So far...

I'm Christian but have read a Jehova Witness booklet with bible references. Apparently, Yes we are. According to the JW's translation of the bible.
But it's all very promising for people who are good. We all get told what God's laws are and get a second chance to follow them.
It's a very positive faith (JW) and it's all there in the bible...apparently..I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination :-)

Jehovah's Witnesses throughout their history have predicted doomsday. To this day we still have Jehovah's Witnesses.

the threat has always been a ploy to frighten the superstitious masses. They also believed disease was caused by demons.. A JW told me that proof of the Bible's prophesy is that one passage (I forgot which) stated one should bury one's waste (defecation). This was supposed to be proof as they were aware of the need for sanitation long before the rest of us. I guess that means that all cats are Jehovah's Witnesses since they bury their sh**t

Yes. I study my bible very carefully and a lot of places within the bible talk about the end of times, and this era definitely fulfills whatever it says in the bible about the end, for those who don't believe, it's OK, everybody will see the near end, weather we believe it or no.

Only God knows when this will happen, by the way he made the earth and made time he can very well end it at anytime, you just don't know. thats why we should live your lives before God and try to live right. remember when all else fails read the BIBLE for help.

Con men have been predicting this for centuries, and suckers have been believing them. Get this into your head: all prophets of doom have been wrong thus far and always will be wrong, whether it's someone saying he can interpret Revelation, Nostradamus, Mayan calendars, etc., etc.! The Earth will be here at least 5,000,000,000 more years, and you needn't worry about that.
