I have a boyfriend whom I've known for almost 20 years. We met when through my brother when he was in kindergarden-I'm a year older. Anyways at one time, my boyfriend was a Christian, like I am. Some things happened to him when he was a teenager that made him turn away from believing. His beliefs became agnostic. We started dating a few years later, and it almost seems like he believes in God, but he can't "forgive" God for the things that happened to him. I've talked to him about religion & he tells me that he's not sure if he believes or not, he "questions it". But if/when things get bad for me in my life, he'll go to church with me for "moral support", or he'll tell me to pray about it if I think it'll help. I love him very much, & want nothing more than for him to just believe again. I want him to give up his demons & start over, even if it means losing him. I just need advice on if how I should try to save him, or if I should leave the situation alone, which I'm not sure I can do.

If Jesus is and was Jewish...okay, it would stand to reason that we should all be Jewish...BUT...the people rejected him, right? So, is that where Christianity comes from? If so, wouldn't that make Christianity wrong?

For me, this is a serious question so please try to be civil guys...

Leviticus 19:26-28

26Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

27Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

28Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Leviticus 19:31

31Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 20:6

6And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

That is to say does your religion require you to attend a specific church or temple? Why do you go there? What happens if you do not go? And where in your religion's holy books does it say you must go?

(Personally I do not go to any kind of church for regular worship - I take the view that "He's not the kind you have to wind-up on Sundays" if you see what I mean.)
