Hmmmm... "I told you that I was sick!" is my favorite one that I have seen...
"Ahhh! I needed a nice long Nap!"

There was a much loved comedian in the UK named Spike Milligan.
He wanted "I told you I was ill" as an epitaph but when he died there was an argument between his family and partner. Some wanted it, some didn't, and I believe the church wouldn't allow it.
In the end they compromised and it was written - in Latin.
I also hear that there is a cemetry or cemetries in America where you can make a recording and it is inserted in your gravestone after you die. Anyone can press the start button and can hear any message you decided to leave.
Now that conjures up some thoughts. How about "Booooo" for a start?

First (seriously and not sarcasticly) I will not be buried in a tomb, but rather (if my wife has her way about it) in a cemetary with a headstone. Personally I'd rather be cremated and have the ashes scattered over the Gulf of Mexico. BUT assuming my final disposition will be as the first option mentioned (buried), it would have to be something "uniquely me" that the people who knew me would never forget. Now let me think. How about "I'm not who you thought I was!"
