A GOD would not have to do that. Now a man might have to do something like that, but a true God can do anything whether it violates the natural laws or not. Like raise the dead. It is totally not necessary for God to have some sort of explainable process ...

No, not at all. Evolution is still just a THEORY anyway. Why is it being taught in our schools as fact? I don't know. Sorry, anyways:

From Genisis: "Then God said, 'Let the land burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant. And let there be trees that grow seed-bearing fruit'...And God saw that it was good. This all happened on the THIRD day." and "And God said, 'Let bright lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night'...For God made two great lights, the sun and the moon, to shine down upon the earth. And God saw that it was good. This all happened on the FOURTH day." Okay, if God, Creation, and Evolution really do coincide then that part of scripture would be a lie. Evolution requires thousands or millions of years to take place. And if scripture and Evolution go together, then how did the plants survive for thousands or millions of years without sunlight (which was created a day later)? They wouldn't. Creation- 1 Evolution- 0

Okay, the word "day" is listed hundreds of times in the Bible (I forgot the exact number...but it's a lot). Why do we apply Evolution to Creation and not believe that a day really means a day? This statement goes along with that one that I already stated up there ^^^. Anyway, there's no reason why we shouldn't believe that a day really does mean a day in the Bible. And if we do believe it, once again it rules out how Evolution needs thousands or millions of years to be completed. Creation-2 Evolution-0

You might be thinking (or saying...I don't know), "Well, the reasons you're giving me are strictly Bible based. Why should I believe what the Bible says? It might be a big story written by a few crazy guys." I'm glad you asked that question.

There were around 300 prophecies in the Bible predicting Christ's birth, life, death, and etc. The people who wrote the propecies lived anywhere from hundreds to thousands of years before Christ, lived in different areas completey including anywhere from Italy to what is today Iran, didn't know each other at all, and yet ALL of the prophecies came true EXACTLY how they were told. Mathematician and scientist, Peter Stoner, applies the rules of probability to these prophecies. The chances of just eight of these three-hundred prophecies being fulfilled are one in 10 to the 17th power - that's 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000!

Pharaprased from a website I recently discovered, "One subject that separates that Amazing Book from any other book is prophecy. No other book forecasts the future as this one does. The prophecies are precise. Many times they're hundreds, even thousands of years in advance. And without exception - they are fulfilled - to the smallest detail!" Creation- 3 Evolution- 0

Also, many scriptures of the Bible can be compared to today's sciences and be completey TRUE! http://www.av1611.org/amazing.html Go to that website. It contains parts of scripture that were written thousands of years before certain scientific discoveries and advancements were made but are very much fact and scientifically true today. "Genesis 2:7, "And the Lord God formed man of the DUST OF THE GROUND, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul." Surely, you don't take Genesis 2:7 seriously? Do you? November 1982, Reader's Digest had an article titled How Life on Earth Began. It stated that according to scientists at NASA's Ames Research Center the ingredients needed to form a human being can be found IN CLAY. The article said, "The Biblical scenario for the creation of life turns out to be NOT FAR OFF THE MARK."(Reader's Digest, November, 1982 p.116) No, it's "not far off the mark" - it's right on it! Scientists have laughed at the possibility of Genesis having any scientific credibility whatsoever - and yet, the more we learn, the more we find it to be SCIENTIFICALLY CORRECT!" Creation- 4 Evolution- 0

I can't think of any more reasons to believe the Bible, but the ones I gave I think were pretty darn good ones.

I'm sorry my answer was so long. I just hope that it has brought a little insite and maybe guided you to find your answer, whatever it may be.

If evolution produce the human race, why do you say God used it to produce the human race? There no need for God, just evolution. But then you are right, there is no Creator God, just gods.

No. Evolution is *by definition* an unthinking, undirected process. If a hypothetical god existed and he controlled the reproduction of living organisms in order to achieve an intended result (the appearance of human beings) then the process could not be called evolution. In fact, controlling the development of living organisms is a task that farmers and other people who work with animals do every day, and we don't call it evolution, we just call it breeding.

Considering that evolution as a theory is firmly founded on hard science of genetics, archaeology, and anthropology it is highly probable that we are staring at the truth of our existence.

It is possible that God set the world going with certain set of laws in which evolution is one. God did not teach science to the author of Genesis as some would have as believe so therefore men are free to look for the process by which we were made. We were given the gift of intellect to ask and to search for answers, not to eliminate God but to seek understanding.

It actually goes like this; The human race discovered the process of evolution while others were taking a day off to praise the unkown they refer to as god. Now you know the rest of the story!

No. To me God does not make sense scientifically given the severe lack of empirical evidence, nor does God make sense to me Philosophically as, in my opinion, the arguments for require some illogical leaps and have fundemental flaws.

However I do accept evolution as a scientific theory given both the logical philosophical arguments, and supporting evidence. There are flaws in the concept still, unanswered questions, but the weight of evidence and reasoning is, in my opinion, heavily slanted toward evolution at the exclusion of God.

I believe that natural law is part of God's design. I believe that the entire universe is a product of the consciousness of God. Therefore, I have no problem with the idea that God uses evolution.

Yes. If the Eden story is taken literally, then it sez everything in 6 days...

BUT another way of looking at it, is, in symbolical form is a description of evolution...with each "day" being another step in the ladder.

After all, the physicists say everything came from the big bang...It's quite easy to agree with that, just that before the bang was said:

"Let there be light"

And Bob smiled down upon the children, and said, "put another burger on the barbie"

And they ate of the burgers and hotdogs, and the salad of macaroni and potato, they drank of the fermented juice of hops and grain, and it was good.

No - I don't believe in God so I do not believe that he used evolution to create humans.

He "apparently" created the world in 6 days -DAYS not millions of years. I think creationist desperately stretch out the duration because subconsciously they know it doesn't make any sense. They have determine that the earth is billions of years old, plenty of time for mother nature to evolve on her own.
