I'll put it like this from my personal understanding. I hope I don't confuse you..
Take the two symbols for the religions:
The Star of David-Jews, the Cross or Crucifix-Christians
Now take their doctrine:
The Torah(first 5 books of the Christian Bible)-Jews
The Bible(the Torah and 61 other books)
Now you have to think but this should make sense...
Jews- Christ Concealed
Christians- Christ Revealed
Jews just didn't believe Jesus Christ was the Messiah's FIRST Coming. Or were too scared to follow early Christianity so kept with their "old" ways. Christians know Jesus Christ is the Messiah and is awaiting His SECOND Coming and proudly proclaim and practice His teachings.
Being a Christian just wanted to say, not being anti-Semitic,
I love Jews cause if they hadn't done the things they did way back then, I wouldn't know Jesus now. Thanks Jews.

The first followers of Jesus were Jews. And the real original mission of Jesus was for the Jews. So, any Jew who followed Jesus teachings also tried to convert Roman citizen who lived in the the middle east and they were called Christian Jews which up to now there are the Jewish Orthodox Christians which is break away group from the Roman Catholic Church.

This statement isn't entirely true. Not all of Jews are. Completed Jews do believe in Jesus Christ - Traditional ones don't. They believe the savior has yet to come. They only read and study the Old Testament of the Bible.

They are both Jewish and Christian. Like Jesus is and was.
