I feel him spiritually. When I have peace inside me is because He is in my soul. When I feel the opposite is because I have been giving him my back.

PROOFS AND EVIDENCES OF THE EXISTENCE OF GOD

One of the proofs and demonstrations of the existence of God is the fact that man did not create himself: nay, his creator and designer is another than himself.

It is certain and indisputable that the creator of man is not like man because a powerless creature cannot create another being. The maker, the creator, has to possess all perfections in order that he may create.

Can the creation be perfect and the creator imperfect? Can a picture be a masterpiece and the painter imperfect in his art? For it is his art and his creation. Moreover, the picture cannot be like the painter; otherwise, the painting would have created itself. However perfect the picture may be, in comparison with the painter it is in the utmost degree of imperfection.

The contingent world is the source of imperfections: God is the origin of perfections. The imperfections of the contingent world are in themselves a proof of the perfections of God.

For example, when you look at man, you see that he is weak. This very weakness of the creature is a proof of the power of the Eternal Almighty One, because, if there were no power, weakness could not be imagined. Then the weakness of the creature is a proof of the power of God; for if there were no power, there could be no weakness; so from this weakness it becomes evident that there is power in the world. Again, in the contingent world there is poverty; then necessarily wealth exists, since poverty is apparent in the world. In the contingent world there is ignorance; necessarily knowledge exists, because ignorance is found; for if there were no knowledge, neither would there be ignorance. Ignorance is the nonexistence of knowledge, and if there were no existence, nonexistence could not be realized.

It is certain that the whole contingent world is subjected to a law and rule which it can never disobey; even man is forced to submit to death, to sleep and to other conditions -- that is to say, man in certain particulars is governed, and necessarily this state of being governed implies the existence of a governor. Because a characteristic of contingent beings is dependency, and this dependency is an essential necessity, therefore, there must be an independent being whose independence is essential.

In the same way it is understood from the man who is sick that there must be one who is in health; for if there were no health, his sickness could not be proved.

Therefore, it becomes evident that there is an Eternal Almighty One, Who is the possessor of all perfections, because unless He possessed all perfections He would be like His creation.

Throughout the world of existence it is the same; the smallest created thing proves that there is a creator. For instance, this piece of bread proves that it has a maker.

Praise be to God! the least change produced in the form of the smallest thing proves the existence of a creator: then can this great universe, which is endless, be self-created and come into existence from the action of matter and the elements? How self-evidently wrong is such a supposition!

These obvious arguments are adduced for weak souls; but if the inner perception be open, a hundred thousand clear proofs become visible. Thus, when man feels the indwelling spirit, he is in no need of arguments for its existence; but for those who are deprived of the bounty of the spirit, it is necessary to establish external arguments.

Yes I do. Just as you need to believe there is no God to see the proof of a Godless universe so to must you believe there is a God to see the proof of a universe with a God.

Yes. God exists. I know by direct revelation from God to me (it is not faith - it is knowledge)...and I am not special in that way...anyone can know. Who is going to tell God that He is not allowed to communicate with His children?...as well might a man put forth his puny arm to try to stop the Missouri river in it's decreed course, as for a man to try to hinder God from pouring down knowledge and revelation from heaven unto His children. Ask and ye shall receive...and at the time it is best for you (in God's wisdom) He will make His existence known unto you.

There is no empirical evidence for the existence of a god. To say god created the universe begs the question of who created god. If god needs no creation, then neither does universe. Faith is accepting unsupported data on the authority of something else and cannot be proven. To make a claim, it is necessary to support that claim with verifiable evidence. Faith is insufficient for proof.

I don't know, I just believe. Technically this makes my belief a psychosis, but it's a psychosis based on faith. Sometimes the timing of certain events, and events that radically defy statistics make it seem far more probable that there is an intelligent force at work in the universe rather than everything happening merely by chance. I choose to call that force "God".

P.S. I know a couple who gamble on "slot-machines" regularly. They BOTH always seem to triple, quadruple, and even quintuple their investment on a regular basis. Any serious statistician who might witness this couple in action would be hard pressed NOT to believe in the existence of luck. I believe luck is a subtle expression of one way the God force can work in people's lives, and this is a "proof" to me that it exists.

Peace

Answ: "The Death of Because"

One has to admire in Nietsche's 'Thus Sprague Zarathustra' .. the event called "the death of 'Because'" .. alot of "becauses" here I am observing ..lol ...
"Because" .. can die .. it is an introverted journey .. for that reason no "driver's manual" can be written for it .. One of the best yet attempted was 'Patanjali's Yoga Sutras with Vyasu's Commentaries' ... but for an extravert, this will simply lead to a vast extraverted mistake.. like 'Criticque of Reason' ...Kant read the first translation of Patanjali from Sanskrit .. and modern "materialism" became born from a yogin's text .. lol ..
Yet nonetheless .. I assure you .. "Because" can die, for some humans who take that journey ..

Extraverts and introverts have many huge misunderstandings of one another ... they tend not to "get" one another(I am noticing these all the time) .. My succinct answer of "the death of because" would be a nice little riddle for each of them to wrestle their beans upon .. :D

Yes I do believe he exists. I know because I have a warm feeling in my chest when I think about God

Belief of God is usually a faith thing. Unless perhaps a person has had an experience that made them believe perhaps a trauma or lived when the expected not to or had a prayer answered. Perhaps I would say when I had horrible nightmares after my father died and asked God to make them go away when nothing else would and prayed some special intention prayers at church and it worked that increased my faith. Other times I was angry at God because I felt he was not listening to me, but perhaps it was because I needed to help myself. He assited me in helping me help myself. He works in ways he is not ordered what to do. He helps us in his own way we do not comand him.

Nope. No evidence I've seen supports the existence of god.

Could not be described on this forum...could only be discussed in person in a trusting environment, perhaps over a glass of wine with time to absorb the info...It is not a light matter.
