I was just convinced that if you can't find someone's body, that it means that they are an immortal god:

If you believe in Adam and Eve, and that their children were Cain and Abel, then WHO was the mother of the grandchildren?

Incest is forbidden, so who did Cain inseminate? He only had his mother, or possibly unmentioned sisters to choose from!

Creationists and 'young earth' advocates must consider this seriously.

So who do you think was the mother of Adam's grandchildren?

Jesus is God Almighty in the Flesh, He came to Earth to redeem fallen man. He allowed Himself to be put to death on the cross so that our sins (my sins too) could be atoned for. He (Bodily) rose from the dead. Why is it that so many people ( even though they cannot produce a body) equate Christians just like all other religions? Show us the Body. You won't find it. You are simply believing the same lie that the Pharisees paid the gaurds to say. Same lie different year. Where is the body? This is why Christianity is superior to all other "religions".

The trouble is today, we hear so much of wicked religious preachers molesting children, especially little boys.

How safe is your Pastor, Vicar, Priest, or whatever you call him? If he asked permission to take your little children into the woods to gather flowers for the church, would you feel in all honesty that your children would be safe? Would you let your little children go?

These are the questions: Who wrote this quote? and What movie was this speech in? Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, "who am I tobe brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous". Actually, who are you not to let you or a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Here is a Spanish translation of the Lord's Prayer:
Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos:
Santificado sea tu nombre.
Venga tu reino,
Hágase tu voluntad, como en el cielo, así también en la tierra.
El pan nuestro de cada día dánoslo hoy;
Y perdónanos nuestras deudas, así como nosotros hemos perdonado a nuestros deudores;
Y no nos metas en tentación, mas líbranos del mal.

It puzzles me that the informal "tu" conjugation is used. Why is this? One would use "usted" when speaking to a boss or someone much older, so why not God?

Some people do not believe in Hell and therefore do not believe that they will go to Hell ("how could they go somewhere they don't believe exists?").

Do you agree with this belief? Why or why not?

I'm not asking this as my belief; I'm simply ASKING.

When you consider how one comes of their beliefs, its seems there are more people who grew up with religion only to become atheists then those who grew up atheists that grew up to become religious. Naturally, there are many exceptions, but i can say at least the academic world, the vast majority are those who became atheist once they became old enough to form their own logical conclusions, as oppose to the other way around.

So, who are the true sheep then, the atheists who came to their conclusions as they matured, or those who stuck to the religion that was presented to them when they were too young to form their own opinions?

Do you know something scarier than "hell"? With all the deadly video games they play, almost nothing scares them...

Maybe I should tell them there is no video-games in Hell?

Thx for giving me some advice.

I just read this response to a question about whether or not "God" hates sinners:

"If I step on a bee that just stung me, do I hate it? No. I may have been angry at it. You're trying to tell us God's emotional state when He caused the flood or destroyed cities. No one can do that. It's possible to be angry without hating."

I thought "he" was above such trivial things?

After demonstrating that logically a lack of evidence leads to agnosticism, rather than to ("strong") atheism, several people invoked Ockham's razor to justify their atheism.

Ock·ham's razor also Oc·cam's razor:
A rule in science and philosophy stating that entities should not be multiplied needlessly. This rule is interpreted to mean that the simplest of two or more competing theories is preferable and that an explanation for unknown phenomena should first be attempted in terms of what is already known. Also called law of parsimony.
