They don't even believe in Heaven - *sigh*

If I tell my kids that they can play video-games in Hell, will they believe in Hell then?

You shouldn't! Anyone with a true undrstanding of biblical text will tell you there is no mention of hell in the bible. It does in fact talk about throwing the BODIES of evil men outside the city to burn. But this is because they were not seen to deserve a proper christan burial. It is simply their bodies which are to be burned, not the soul. Any true believer would believe the bible alone, so if hell is talked about somewhere else it should be discounted.

Ask your kids to look at the sky at a clear night then tell him that there is someone there above the sky who has created the sparkling stars ..keep reminding them about God & then tell them that the purpose of this life is to test us whom is good & whom is bad .. Good will go into the paradise .. & the bad have to go to hell .. buy some stories with pictures which talk about this subject (Kids Graphic Stories) & best wishes ..

Why tell them about Hell now, they are kids, let them be kids. They will soon learn that life is hell when they are adults and having to work! LOL

Forget heaven, forget hell, just talk to them as people and explain why they should be nice. My parents did that to me, and I'm a total sweetheart! LOL

Seriously, though, they did explain everything to me, and never said "Do this because I said so" or "Do this or you will go to hell". Children actually do respond better when you treat them like adults.

Converting them is the worse thing you can do. Let them discover this stuff on their own. There's no law that they have to follow a religion. I'm an atheist and I turned out just fine.

Don't think you know it all, you were raised to believe in hell but that doesn't mean that it exists. Why not rather, let your children do research and come to their own conclusions, if hell exists as you say, then they should realize it logically later.

i wouldn't tell them hell is a place they can having fun with video games. take time be patient with them and provide sound information from books, pamphlets and of course the bible. do so firstly for the promise of heaven, encourage them about god, let hell be the last thing to convince them of.

Your kids believe correctly. There is hope for humankind. Leave them alone & don't try to stuff your old religious ideas down their throats.

Perhaps they are a bit more intelligent than you give them credit for. All you can do is give them the evidence (if any) and let them make up their own minds. Otherwise it's just simple brainwashing.
