Some people do not believe in Hell and therefore do not believe that they will go to Hell ("how could they go somewhere they don't believe exists?").

Do you agree with this belief? Why or why not?

I'm not asking this as my belief; I'm simply ASKING.

Sorry guys, but....
If a believer is wrong and hell doesn’t exist, then nothing has been lost. On the other hand, if the non-believer is wrong and hell does exist, then the non-believer risks going to hell. Therefore, it is smarter to take a chance on believing than to take a chance on not believing, and the non-believer is in a bad spot.

Someone mentioned they've heard of reports of what heaven is like by ppl who've died for a period of minutes and were brought back to life and haven't heard anything about reports of hell. Here's a few books about that:
"23 Minutes in Hell: One Man's Story About What He Saw, Heard, and Felt in That Place of Torment" by Bill Wiese;
"A Divine Revelation of Hell" by Mary K. Baxter;
"A Land Unknown: Hell'S Dominion" by B.W. Melvin

For someone who says I chose to ignore the facts then hell is my destination, if that was even directed at me in the first place: I haven't ignored any facts. I only asked a question and even noted that I didn't ask it on MY belief. I am a Christian and I do believe in heaven and hell and I do believe what the Bible tells us about each.

1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

GOD BLESS ALL

i myself am a christian.
there is a hell and a heaven wether the non believers wish to believe it or not. just because you dont think its there doesnt mean it actually isnt.

for those who dont believe in hell but believe in heaven. well ur lying with urself right there. if theres a heaven for the good where do the bad go with your believe. some believe in the devil yet still dont believe in hell. where does he live?
and everyone believes in god. if not why do they call him all the time

"o god"
"jesus christ"
"jesus"
"oh my god"

theres also

"what the hell?"
"where in the hell?"

and so on

for those who believe make the right choice. for those who dont well ur in for a shock and u shud stop talking like u do believe. if u dont believe in god dont say omg cuz u dont believe hes there

Personally, I don't believe in a Hell...

But I think you're looking for a more generalized, explanative answer, than no I do not becasue I can't go somewhere I don'te believe in. First of all, just becuase you don't believe in some place, dosen't automatically void it's existance. Say you had a friend who didn't believe that say, Asia, Didn't exist. That doesn't mean that it would automatically disappear from the Earth, from all the Maps.

Of course, that is a place we can prove exists, cause you can actually go there as a coporeal being... spiritual places like Heaven and Hell, or the Summerlands, or any afterlife, nonreincarnation destinations, can't be proven the same way. While it is true that many who have been resurrected after having been dead 5 minutes or so decribe a place that could be heaven, how many have reported of a Hell experience? I sure havn't heard any reports of it...

When it comes to spirituality, and spirit places like Heaven and Hell, and others, the only way to prove either of them is through belief, through power of your will, through the strength of your mind. it is becuase they are places of our own creations- ask a million people to describe each place to you, and while you may get similar answers, it will be rare that they are exactly the same.

Therefore, I go where I believe I will when my life on this Earth ends... because that is what I have made up in my mind, and that is what I have determined will happen for my actions in this life.

Bible teaches God is life. After death we are with God (life) or separated from God (death). If we are separated from God or life you have death. Therefore death is not ceasing to exist but being separate from God. The place of separation is called Hell translated means the grave (place of the dead). The soul does not cease to exist, so afterlife is an eternal state with God in Heaven or apart from God in Hell

You chose to ignore the facts and this is your final destination

In a lot of ways I hope there is one as some people go through life commiting crimes and getting clean away with it - so it would be nice to think there is some justice for them.

On the other hand I don't want to go there myself - maybe I will go there for wishing other people were there??

To answer the question - yes I believe in hell.

What do you mean, "do you agree with this belief"?

Are you asking if I think it's legitimate, valid, accurate, totally bonkers, what?

I could answer:

"I think this point of view is totally 100% true" OR "I think that perception is just as valid as any other" OR "they are going to Hell because it's there it really iiiiiiis" OR "I am unable to render judgement at this time as my knowledge on the matter is far too limited and therefore an inadequate frame of reference for coming to an informed conclusion".

I have no belief in any deity, nor any afterlife. So I don't believe in hell and do not expect to end up there.

Of course I might be wrong about that. That's why I've promised to buy all my friends, and enemies, a drink if we should meet there!

look at it any incorrect way round. a guy who believes not believing is a decision ought to therefore see believing as actively determining on heaven. That guy's theory of what it skill to "have self assurance" must be more beneficial of a sensation of compelled determining on, that's why not believing must be considered as a decision besides. i changed into in basic terms attempting to imagine of a metaphor and that i actual considered this that's form of an epiphany: those who're experienced in checking to make certain if someone is telling the reality or not will search for indicators of wide wide awake processing alongside with a pause and forming sentences alongside with "i'm not accountable" fairly than "i'm possibility free." We take the initial formula of the unique although and make it damaging. that's an subconscious rerouting of words even although your mind needs to variety the the ideal decision version. no matter if that's that this kind of pastime, then it can make experience why the alternative is considered as a wide wide awake decision for that you will be held to blame besides. only a theory. for sure not each body who matter on god does so in this kind, yet i must be inquisitive about the guy who accuses you of such. exciting no? maximum of what we see outdoors ourselves we ought to also recognize to exist through that's existence in ourselves. you'll infrequently discover someone indignant with you for something ought to they not secretly choose themselves in basic terms as seriously for a similar habit, or they would not comprehend it to be what they do. Naivety is a time period we use to describe a blissfully ignorant man or woman... someone who's unsuspecting of a few different person's intentions... they are unsuspecting oftentimes because they have had no such adventure and no reason to imagine incorrect ought to/ought to/is being performed to them. If someone judges you angrily on your beliefs perhaps that's because that's a tricky inner difficulty for them, or something that motives them frustration and choose now to not be reminded of it. perhaps they have contempt for the existence they won't be able to have because they worry hell, and hate you for it. both way, that's not your problem except you enable their problem make you indignant or harm.

Sure I believe that if some believes that there is no hell.....that they do not believe they are going to hell. Stands to reason.

I don't agree with them...and think that they are destined for hell...but that is my belief...not theirs. They are free to believe anything they choose to believe.

ROFLMAO
There is a tree and one very heavy and weak limb you stand under, you do not believe with all your might that nothing will happen.

It brakes free and falls, what good is your belief then and did it matter?

There is a hell and many who with all there might do not believe will!

The reason you don't go to hell has nothing to do with your beliefs.
But let me "dramatize."
Here are some other places I'm NOT going to: Shangri-La, Atlantis, Oz, Wonderland or Valhalla. Together with hell, they are places you can't go to because they don't exist - whether you believe in them or not.
