Priests molesting helpless children.
Bishops covering up for the priests.
Con men fleecing their fellow believers of billions of dollars through ponzi schemes and worthless investments.
Politicians disguising their vicious plans in the dress of piety.
Women who keep going back to church even after it's made quite plain to them that they'e second-class citizens there.
What astonishes me is that anybody is left who hasn't yet noticed what fertile ground religion provides for wickedness of every variety. If you're not safe from evildoers in _church_, how can you seriously expect religion to protect you from evil?

Yes. I do not know how safe my pastor is, but she just happens to be female. I believe if she asked for permission take my children into the woods to gather flowers for the church, would not let them go. More because the woods are not safe, that the pastor is not.
When it comes to that, there are molesters in all professions, and all walks of life. I think we should be wary of all.

I,m sure that not all ministers of God are going to molest our young children. As a parent and a person who believes in God I would not allow my child to go anywhere with anyone unless I knew that person well enough to be sure that that person was a morally responsible God fearing person. Unfortunatly we are living in the last days where things like this are becoming more prevalent. My suggestion to all parents is keep your children close and keep praying to Jehovah God that you may find the true people of God to worship with and accosiate with.

If you can't trust your pastor with your kids, then this church is not for you.
2) Listen, if you have faith in God, and you know for sure that you're walking straight with him your kids are protected. You may leave your kids with the meanest man of the world, and nothing wrong would happen to them.
3) If you can have so much fear until you're not even sure if you can leave your kid with your "pastor" then you need to get deeper in God.
Yes, you can my sister, it's not because it's your pastor, but it's because our GOD never sleeps.

That depends on if you have a relationship with your pastor. To me, he is like anyone else. Would you let your kid go with someone you didn't know at a deep level and trust. My answer would be no, and it is the same for the pastor. If you are a friend, and trust him, let them go. If not, I would say NO.

Did you know it's not just catholic priests who molest children? Pastors of all religions have admitted to molesting children?
Did you know it's not just religious people who molest children? People who work in schools molest children, people in day cares, and don't forget the molestor uncle.
Everybody loves to point the finger.....

well it all depends on how old your children are. if they are little, No. I am very over protective over my kids and unless they were like 14 or 15 and they can defend themselves and trust me enough to tell me anything, than yes i would.
if your kids are little, don't. especially if you have girls. your pastor should understand this.

I wouldn't let my children be alone with anyone I considered a stranger, even if he was a pastor. Those incidents taught me that you can't trust anyone, when it comes to your kids.
