and no i cant call myself a warlock so dont even try telling me this:
As used by most Wiccans and modern witches, the term warlock refers to a witch who has been expelled for breaking oaths, revealing secrets, working black magic or committing some other betrayal.
so as you can see it's not going to happen

You are a great Sorcerer then!
Female = sorceress, witch.
Male = sorcerer.

The only thing I can suggest is to use "Wiccan" or "Pagan" if you don't care for "Witch". But for what it's worth, Gardner called himself "Witch". Buckland calls himself "Witch". Nichols calls himself "Witch". I think Cunningham called himself "Witch" (though I'm not sure). So I don't know that I'd be particularly concerned with what others think.
If *you* don't like the term "Witch" then don't use it. But don't shy away from it because of what someone else thinks.

I am not familiar with a masculine way to spell it. I know some Dianics and Feminist spell it Wytch. So maybe Witch is the masculine spelling.
You are correct that a warlock means traitor and that isn't our style ;)

Witch is gender neutral. But if you don't want to be misunderstood you can always say you're Wiccan or Pagan.
