If Jesus were to resort to his Biblical aphorisms in the New Testament he would reiterate:
And he said unto them, “This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting”. (Mark 9:29)
Of course if he wanted to funny he could take this iconic saying:
“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:24)
And transform it into the following parody:
“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a fat man to enter anywhere.”
However, in all seriousness, if people followed the general framework of Jesus’ moral message, of putting the needs of others before that oneself, obesity simply would not exist. Obesity, except for the rare few who have actual metabolic abnormalities, is merely a byproduct of self-absorption, obsession with fleshy pleasures, and selfishness.

Food is just one of many things we could use to engage in gluttony or contentment--TV, sex, popularity, just about anything we like could be taken to extremes. I think Jesus would remind us to focus first on Him, not on other things, to find peace and contentment. (Matthew 6:25-34) There are many things which could contribute to spiritual obesity as well--if we're spiritually lazy and flabby and not doing anything to grow and become stronger spiritually, we will end up spiritually obese just like couch potatoes become physically obese. If we don't get physical or spiritual exercise, morbid obesity in that sense is a real possibility.

Dear Unknown:
It is not possible to be "unknown." God was first known to us in Exodus as "I am." His Children, Created in His Own Likeness and as part of Himself, MUST, therefore, be "I am" as well - as part OF Him.
Jesus would not look upon physical differences - for any reason. He healed because He did not see what THEY saw. The overweight He would have seen as normal. The blind, He knew were sighted. The deaf He knew were hearing. The crippled He knew were walking. The dead He knew were still with us. "Lazarus. . .Come Forth!"
When Jesus answered the Call from the Holy Spirit which was sent out through the entire One-Mind of the Sonship in Eternity, He came to perform a role. . .and was the first to complete his role Perfectly. That meant He had to stay focused on Truth and our Reality - no matter what He saw through His human eyes. He had to walk through His brief life never losing His inner vision of Who and What we truly are : The Spirit-Mind God Created. Using a body but not OF it. If the Father was Perfect - then must His Children be. Crippled, deformed, overweight, anorexic, blind, deaf, ill, cannot be our Reality. It is a human experience, only. But this Child is Eternal - no matter what human eyes see. The Perfection exists inside of us in our Spirit-Minds.
Strangely, when we truly understand this and we have studied and become mature in our own holiness (as sons of God) we begin to see ourself as Perfecting. In the Presence of Jesus we can be healed of all thoughts that have contributed to our seeing ourselves otherwise !
When you read anything of your choice regarding spiritual life, ask, verbally, within, Jesus to join you and instruct you. You ask Him questions and He shall answer. You will hear His voice in your Mind speaking clearly. Listen ! After He ascended, He did not stop teaching. He joins you by invitation. Never without invitation. Learn to see your Self as He sees you.
For the Love of God - see yourself as He sees you : Normal, whole, complete within the Father. Share His vision.

Is this a bad joke ("Get up! Pick up your fat and walk."), a twist of John 5:8? Not nice.
Where there is belief in Jesus Christ, anything can be done in his name. Pray.

Jesus would say, "I love you. Have hope. You can love yourself by making yourself healthier in My grace. Do not give up. I am with you." May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.

Jesus called it gluttony and declared it a sin and it needs to be dealt with in the same way as any other sin.
