If you believe in Adam and Eve, and that their children were Cain and Abel, then WHO was the mother of the grandchildren?

Incest is forbidden, so who did Cain inseminate? He only had his mother, or possibly unmentioned sisters to choose from!

Creationists and 'young earth' advocates must consider this seriously.

So who do you think was the mother of Adam's grandchildren?

Sorry but this is a silly question. The bible story of Adam and Eve is a myth. the person who wrote it (that is supposed to be Moses) had no idea how humans came to be on earth. He had to have an explaination so he made it up and since nobody else knew either who was going to argue.
p.s
Lots daughters did have sex with their father according to the bible but they were under the impression that they were the only people left on earth and then they had to get him drunk first.

Incest was allowed at the time to populate the earth. But a common oversight to this question lies in Genesis 5:4 where the Bible clearly state that Adam begot sons and daughters. Also, Geness 1:27 clearly states 'male and female created he them.' Which leaves the possibility that while Adam was the first man created, on the day God created humans, he created more than just one.

I hope this helps and I didn't even have to get all scientific on ya.

yes I do beleive in the account at Genesis because it make good sense to believe in the Creator not the evolusion theory.
God told Adam and Eve to fill the earth and have in subjectionn etc. Adam and Eve were made perfect there was no such thing as incest. So there was interelationships. How else could they fill the earth. a warning, don't trust the clergy, believe in Satan and his demons and thank God he is policing the earth to keep us all relatively safe from these demons

Incest was not proclaimed to be wrong until much later. Clearly it would have been required if the Genesis account is to be believed. Either that or God did some more begatting with the daughters of Eve.

I can't believe what I am reading! This question is not all that credible, but if you want to know who came before Adam...nobody. He was the first man and human.

Here is the only information that you will need. Please, please don't listen to the wild guesses that on here already. This is DIRECT from the Bible.

Genesis 2
7 the LORD God formed the man [e] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Use your common sense ! God created all the races on the sixth day, and He saw that it was good. On the seventh day He rested. On the Eight day He made Adam because there was no one to tend the garden or till the fields. After God placed His mark on Cain, Cain went to the land of Nod which was east of Eden and took a wife.

There were people on the earth before Adam and Eve, they were created on the 6th day. They were given dominion over the wild things of the earth, and Adam was created on the 8th day specifically as a farmer.

The 6th day tribes were hunter/gatherers, and Adam and his children brought farming and culture to the earth. This is the difference between paleolithic and neolithic peoples.

There are two distinct creations in Genesis, unfortunately most are ignorant of this fact.

His daughters were the mothers of his grandchildren. It still works that way even today, and yes Adam's daughters are mentioned in the Bible, and who made incest in those days forbidden? the law didn't come in for a couple of thousand years.

It is evident that Adam and Eve also had daughters, of course the Bible does not specify. That would be the only logical explanation for this.

I don't believe in Genesis (only the band of course) The creationists have really backed the wrong horse. It's so hard for the poor dears to see beyond their blinkers, probably indoctrinated since children, or just plain blind to reality.
