That is an excellent question. Because if more peole start talking about UFOs, create sects (like the one with this guy Raël), then UFO believers may get more followers and all the other religions may become "passé". OK, I'm joking, but you do have an excellent point.

Well, I personaly don't trust any data about ufo's, but at least, scientific investigations can be done about ufo's.
It is not the case for religions (or rarely).
So I really think that ufo-watchers are interesting people, whether they really saw something or not.
