What was he up to prior to all this creative activity? What inspired him to suddenly decide to do something - and did he also create space and time? If he did then where was he before that event? If he didn't, then it already existed, and he didn't create it, did he? All this goes to show that the religious nuts haven't the faintest idea what they do believe - much less prove it! If I, as a physicist, wish to promote a theory then I must produce a proof and some experimental evidence to support its validity. Without that, I can't expect anyone to give it any credence whatsoever - so why should religious beliefs be any different?

You know, considering the religion of the Greeks is classified under "mythology". How can you say that your religion is more accurate then the Greeks, when all religions are based on faith?

is that the explanation is not falsifiable:

and thus not even testable. There is no way to create an experiment to show that it's wrong. For every possible set of a test and a result, we could simply say, "God did it." Why do the Earth and universe appear to be so old? God did it. Why does nature seem so balanced? God did it. Once again, why does anything happen? If we say that God did it, there is no reason or opportunity to learn how the world really works. If we had stayed with God as the cause of all events, our modern culture would have been impossible. We would have no real science, engineering, or medicine. We would still be living in the Dark Ages.

My husband of almost 8 years and I haven't had intercourse in our entire marriage. I feel like he hasn't tried enough to fix the problem (or even figure out what it really is). We've seen counselors and I've done therapy by myself. He's taken pills (although he won't usually tell me when he's taken them) and seen a couple doctors. But MONTHS go by without even an attempt or I"ll ask, "When can we try?" And he'll say, "Soon" or "I don't know."

What woman has to beg for sex? I'm pretty and get asked out a lot. Now I've seen a lawyer to begin divorce proceedings, but I'm so scared it may not be the right thing to do. I have no reason to think hubby will change. What to do?

Zephaniah 3:17 says.....
"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

Sounds like He sings...

Be descriptive.
A few variables here, if you want to use them----
If christianity was the one world religion
''islam''
"Atheist"
"spiritual"
'eastern religions''
''mystical paths''
"insert your own idea here''

And if the future looks negative...how would you remedy this, if it was up to you.(and your friends)
(Just an idea here, if you and your friends were in charge, you would be the illuminati, think of all the access you would have to all forms of knowledge, lol)anyways you can disregard this last statement..just an idea

If not, then the problem is not belief but your will. Therefore can't do anything about that.

- Atheist: one who disbelieves or denies the existence of God/gods;

- Non-theist: one who has no belief in BOTH the existence and the non-existence of God/gods;

- Theist: one who believes in the existence of God/gods (monotheistic/polytheistic).

---

So, according to these definitions:

- a theist believes in the existence of God/gods;
- an atheist believes in the non-existence of God/gods;
- a non-theist doesn't believe in both the existence & the non-existence of God/gods.

A theist and an atheist believe.
A non-theist doesn't believe.

So: are you an atheist or a non-theist?

Deuteronomy 21: 18-21
Maybe the fact is is that over the years the christians have left parts of the bible behind that nolonger fit their lives. Its easy for them to customize their religion to fit their needs.
Muslims adhere to their religion. It isnt a customizable faith.
Christians are always quick to point an intolerant finger......

So, I asked why I wasn't converted by force, if God is almighty and he knows better. And they answered that I wouldn't want to be loved by putting a gun to people's head, would I? Now, my follow-up question is:

Why would God punish those who choose not to love him (or acknowledge his existence, in the first place). If only I had done that with all the girls and women who chose to reject me, the world might as well be empty now!
