I think "he" looks like text. Words. God. <--------see the word? That's what "God" looks like. "He" is text in a book, invisible to the naked eye because "he" doesn't exist beyond that word, or other the text that describes him in your bible.

Are you trying to paint God? or maybe write about him? or perhaps you need marketing ideas to reach with an image that's most appealing to the greates number of people? or are you just wasting your time and ours? You know of course either God or the Devil or any "out of this earth" creature or being will be the image our minds will give it, there may be many similarities if the sample is taken from one culture, samples will differ if taken from different cultures with a different background that shaped their minds. No need for the question, just look at history books and you will find plenty of images, choose the one you like most. You by any chance a Mel Gibson scout???

"no supidity or get reported! you been warned." - i like that. the traditional, monotheistic, omnipotent, omniscient god doesn't look like anything we can imagine, unless he cares to. if you believe jesus is god, and, if he retained his mortal shape, after his resurrection, one imagines he looks like an ancient semite. i'm not certain if he's described, in the various religious works concerning him. being omnipotent, though, god can look like anything s/he feels like (a burning bush and a column of smoke and fire are some forms he's taken, if i recall my old testament correctly). what does it matter, really?

Hi th!nK
This is the best I can do. I do hope it is of some help.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Rev 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
The following may help, they have hordes of onlie booklets which will answer most any question that you may have about God. All of it is FREE.

I don't think he looks like a human, some people think he is just a soul but I'm not sure b/c the Bible says we will not have physical features so does this mean that we will not have eyes? Boy this is a deep subject, now I'm confused, I don't think we will know anything for sure until we get there, amen!

HE/SHE/IT has no true form but a true being of self.To my belief GOD looks like HIS word brought into existance.If you think you saw GOD, I will not argue with you at all.On the day of resurection (if you believe in that) it is said GOD will aproach you in the form you always recognised HIM just to make it that much more easier for you.It is said you will see HIM as clear as the moon on a clear night.And we all know how visable that is.Unless you are of the visually impaired(no sarcasm intended).But everyone thinks THE GOD looks like something different.I personally think HE looks like HIS word.No true form, but a true being in the unseen and seen.He looks Like HE can do what HE alone wills.HE looks like his word.Not through text, but proof in a believers heart.In an essense, HE looks like GOD.(to each his own)

When Moses asks to look at God, God tells him that he can really only look at where He (God) has just been. Seeiing Him directly would cause Moses to die is what he is told.
You could also say that God looks like everything because God is in everything.

Nobody really knows for sure but Jesus and He said if you had seen Him, you had seen the Father. WE are made in the likeness of Him so must look a lot like us but more beautiful.

Look in the mirror. God is a spirit that exists within you. You are seeing a reflection of that spirit.
