Truthfully I dont think there is two hundred years left. And in that space off time if we where around the variables are every science fiction show in the past 85 years!
However, two paths are open - those with God, whether you believe in God or not, and those who dont who are the rest of them after Christianity. With Christianity is the only hope that the world would survive another 200 years, barring the 2nd coming of Christ, but we dont really know when I know its real real real soon - Come LORD Jesus! Christianity is the only religion (i dont use that term the world does) that allows other religions their freedom to exist, Some may say this is not so - remembering the Crusades and the Spanish Inquistion of bygone days - however this was not Christianity, may have been under the umbrella, sadly and horribly so, I detest and abhor it, nor do I think it was okay then nor do I believe ok now! True Christianity is that spiritual state that gives freedom to believe to live and to trust to love - false Christianity destroys and disintegrates within a few generations!
If Islam becomes the one world gov't, rest assured the other religions will become extinct! Islam will make them extinct, bow or have your head chopped off. Some say this is not the way of Islam. Islam is the way of peace. Yes, with one proviso - you must be a Muslim to enjoy it! If you are not - you must become one or die! Simple outlook. With all the world at their feet, and all the money at their disposal, the calendar would change language would change there would be one dialect spoken - Arabic - and if you didnt know you would be expected to learn. Libraries there would be none. Internet there wouldnt be any. Freedom - forget it, doesnt exist in their society - women would be property on the same level as their dogs. Not their camels, for camels are more important than women. Get the point!
Atheistic world view - let it go to pot so long as i get what i want, and i will help you only if it gets me more, or if you help me get what i want, i might help you get something you want - but hey me first you second. You figure where that goes.
Spiritual world view - i take this to mean anything but Christianity. Thus Christianity would be outlawed. It is almost there now. Oh it would exist but it would be so polluted with other "spiritual" world views that it would be regulated to powerless, empty void of any real essence. it would be in name only not what Jesus meant for it to be. Are we close to that - sounds like it to me.
eastern religions - in the words of alot of writers - all paths lead to God, and it don't matter how or who you pick on so long as you get there - it dont matter how much you work because spiritualism is the most important thing in the world all other things fall in behind it. Buddah Har Krishna, New Age - pot smoking, drug using. mystical unions, mystical paths, enlightenment - its all the same comes from the same source - The one who masquerades as angel of light - you get the picture
my idea - is not mine - I am not the center of the universe, nor am I ludicrous to think I am even close. I have none I know this much is true whatever world view that will be here in 200 years if it is not of Christianity - it wont be here, no one will be here. For self will destroy self, it will wax worse and worse, and as it says in the Word - Unless God had shortened those days no life would have been saved!

200 years ago the world had all the religions which we know of now and i think that it will remain the same 200 years hence provided we dont destroy humankind with atomic weapons.
What is positive or negative? It depends on your perspective.
I think that people would continue to question the relevance of religion and there would be people who would accept it unconditionally. Our religions have stood the test of nearly 2000 years, so what is 200 years? The spiritual state could be that there would be more people who are skeptic but not willing to research and study the religions.
I would constitute a research on all the major religions of the world and find the areas where they agree. Those areas i would highlight and recommend to all people to follow. I would also say that the common thread in all religions shows that all mankind should be treated as one family.
The differences in religions would be highlighted, discussed and debated by the religious wise men to find the meanings and reasons for those differences. It could be due to geographic reasons or whatever. The attempt would be to thrash out all differences and eliminate confusion. I hope to create an egalitarian religion for all mankind. The choice of adopting the religion would be left to the free will of the individuals. There would be a ban on using religion for political ends. It would be restricted to the privacy of the individuals to attain the higher realisation.

Wow ..interesting question.
There will have to be natural intervention to control the population, for us to survive.
Wars and disasters have been and will always be here.
Nothing spectacular except the normal technology advances, even into space.
Remark : if mankind closes their heart to God, he will not be in man, simple as that, and life will continue without God, and it will be a nightmare because of greed etc.
I think though that religion will survive, helped by the fact that it is a good money spinner, because there are thousands of faiths, and more will spring up, which will ensure survival anyway, although for the wrong reason...So the Word will survive too, i think, and the good deeds that go with it.God will not change though, like in the past.
You can't keep good men down , and sanity will prevail, and mother nature will look after herself, and mankind will be very modernized.
Mankind will be here, and alive and well too.
The spiritual earth will also be there fortunately, and the spiritual seed will also still grow , and Christianity and other good faiths will fortunately still be will be there too, to keep us honest and with
conscience.
The devil will also still be around, he is the opposing force, and that is just a fact.

Two hundred years from now? Athiest population will grow from five percent to about 15, maybe more if Islam and Christianity continue to back and forth destroy the most faithful. With the advents in biotechnology and the realization of true fusion power, the questions of morality and the nature of humanity will be brought into the forefront, while people are increasingly less impressed by "miracles" because of the immense power availible to us. If we advance fast enough, we may even gain the ability to gain control over gravity by syphoning out gravitons, which would allow for all manner of devices from flying cars to (well) other. Hmmmm...

The Earth will still be here in 200 years but humanity will be merely a shadow of what it is now. Oil production is in decline with no alternative in sight. The oceans are pretty much fished out. The soil is becoming sterile and crops have nowhere near the nutrients they used to have. Land-based species are in decline and many will become extinct in the next 50 years. The human population in 200 years will be perhaps 5% of what it is now, gathered in the high latitudes because the rest of the planet will be a desert. There will be no "civilization" as we now know it.

Interesting question :-)
200 years from now...
I think that cosmologists will find pragmatical proofs about life forms outside of earth with the next decade.
I think that before the next 200 years, scientists will be able to reach other "worlds", and that will be the beginning of a new era, named "The Spatial Era" or something like this, bringing so many new perspectives & hopes.

Good question, and one for philosophers, scholars, and theologists to ponder. Me, I'm sceptical that we will survive 200 more years, at the rate we are skliding into insanity. We have a love vs. hate war going on worldwide. Muslims are intent on ruling the world with their "believe or die" theism. Other religions are losing out with ther "love and peace" message, unfortunately, and because there are so many unbelievers in anything, except themselves. That won't work either, because if you don't care, then you are just as doomed.
No previous democracy in our history has lasted more than 200 years, except for ours. Democracy is doomed to implode, or die from the inside. Ours is shakey. Democracy depends representatives of the people having honesty and integrity for laws to be made respecting the elective body. That's rotting in our government rapidly; Representatives are on the take, and passing special interest legislation as fast as they can spew it out! That spells the foundation for revolution.,
After that, then what; we become immediately vulnerable to takeover from the forces of evil.
Christianity will never die; it's message is too powerful; who can argue with love? But will it be here? or elsewhere?
Ponder on.

well i see the end of world very very near as technology advances and we remain same as divided the destruction will be much easier and faster in future as terrorist are developing new and new methods daily and it is not far when they strike something big. in short time you will have planes running on batteries and much smaller in size witch will make terrorist more easy to create another 911. I see peoples fighting for religion and killing each other. only few will survive who are not coloured by monopoly of religion, who will create heaven here on this earth by new technology, As its mention in eastern culture the world repeats exactly same the heaven will come again then new cycle will begin only the eligible will live or take rebirth.
