...then why can't the phsysical cause of death to a human simply be reversed and the life be brought back? Why can't one replace all vital organs in a 1 day old corpse and GUARANTY life? Once the cause of death is reversed, what prevent's a corpse from living?

As all the traffic in my two lanes stopped today for an ongoing funeral procession, I realized that I've always taken that for granted. Cars stop until the hearse and at least three or four following vehicles have passed. It's not a law by any means here. I've seen a man stop mowing his grass and hold his hat over his heart.

I was just wondering if that happens in other parts of the U.S.

All nations shall be terrorized by the followers of Yahweh. 2:25

God hardened the heart of the king of Heshbon and so that he could have him and all of his people killed. 2:30

At God's instructions, the Israelites "utterly destroyed the men, women, and the little ones" leaving "none to remain." 2:33-36

The Israelites, with God's help, kill all the men, women, and children of every city. 3:3-6

When going to war, don't be afraid. God is on your side; "he shall fight for you." 3:22

God destroyed the followers of Baalpeor. 4:3
God brought the Israelites out of Egypt "by war ... and by great terrors." 4:34

If someone makes an image of anything (like a bird or flower) then God will destroy the entire nation. 4:25-26

If you worship the wrong god, God will get jealous and kill you. 6:15

I saw this guy on MSNBC and he made sense and has been studying Iran and says they are planning a global Jihad on August 22nd. This is the "anniversary" of the day Mohamed went from Mecca to Jerusalem and travelled to heaven and back (it's what they believe). It is also the day the President of Iran has said he will deliver his "response" to the world about their nuclear weapons program. He has his big interview Sunday on 60 Minutes.

This is a pretty interesting test that purports to match your "beliefs" with the "religion" you fit in with best. I'm just wondering how many people end up surprised by the answer... I know I did!

You can rate it on a scale of 1 (totally ignore the criticism) to 10 (causes a severe self-exmination).

My curiosity is about how intensely overt criticism fellow church members, pastors, or the people you hang out with hems you in.

Feel free to comment (a) if you feel ashamed to tell people some of the things you do or (b) if you share everything so that you can have some feedback about Christian behavior. Do conversations with other Christians change your political votes, modify your attitudes toward non-Christians, effect your sexual thoughts and behaviors (including concerning the use of pornography), etc.?

Is the Mansion waiting in heaven for Christians on gold paved streets any different than the 72 virgins waiting for some groups of Muslims?

Now according to my interpretation of creationism, God created the world 6000 years and gave birth to Adam and Eve. Their offsprings later had families together and jump-started the human population. Back then interbreeding was not a problem because humans were more pure. However, as generations went by we got sicker, smaller, and less pure so interbreeding developed hazardous flaws during maturation.

Dinosaurs lived with humans as well, and we have proof of this because there are expertly-crafted cave paintings depicting various dinosaurs. Now up until then, the entire human race had the same ethnicities, but in a blasphemous attempt to reach Heaven, the Tower of Babel was created. God was so angry that He created diversity amongst people to prevent the Tower from being finished. That is why we have so many ethnicities, languages, and so many different religions. Adam and Eve died after living for a thousand years, and the human race has gone downhill since.
