No.

Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.

The church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

With love in Christ.

No, babies and small children are the prime of innocence. They don't know any better. when a small child makes a mistake, he/she is just mimicking what they saw or heard. Think about it, God sends them to earth, he isn't going to expect them to know right from wrong right way. It's ALMOST like starting a new job. you start, you make mistakes, the boss forgives you and understands that you made a mistake because you are new and don't know any better.

Getting baptized is not going to keep a person from going to Hell. What keeps a person from going to hell is living the very best that they know to live and striving to do their best everyday and making improvements and repenting.

WOW! if baptism was the only key to heaven, imagine how many criminals and thugs would be in heaven with us.

all of us is going to hell. Hell is the needed grave. How ought to that is in the different case? The Bible in hardship-free words mentions that useless human beings visit hell. Ecc 9:5,6,10,11 says that once you die you comprehend no longer some thing, can do no longer some thing and performance no memory. you may't experience soreness. A spirit does no longer die as human beings do. It has no flesh or blood. So it ought to no longer experience soreness both. Neither does it thirst or starvation. the purpose for baptism is to coach others that you've died on your former procedure existence and now stay to serve Jehovah. a infant can no longer try this. Baptism isn't for forgiveness of sins because Jesus already died for our sins. a infant, or anybody who has died, is purely waiting to be resurrected. they are purely asleep.

There goes a person indoctrinated by the lies of the Catholic church, hmmm!

Funnily enough I don't 'do' religion - but for any the crazy religions out there, and the extremist, I've always considered the overly righteous Christian offerings to be the most manipulative.

Technically I'm "Roman Catholic" but I was a few hours old at the time and later - about when I learnt to walk - I came to the conclusion, "Hey, I can think, I have a brain, get the Hell out of here, preacher man"

You really have to wander about the morals of a religion that threatens eternal damnation if you don't swear fealty to the Pope and his minions before you've even learnt to spell 'sin', let alone enjoyed a little of it :D

Baptism doesn't have anything to do with salvation. Baptism symbolic for one's profession of asking Jesus to be their Savior.

In answer to your question, I think that a baby who dies in infancy hasn't reached the age of accountability (knowing right from wrong) and will go to heaven.

The position of the Southern Baptist Convention is that children who are too young to understand the consequences of their actions are not held accountable by God for their actions, because their minds are not developed enough to understand the difference between right and wrong. In short, children below a certain age go to Heaven (the Bible is not entirely clear on this, however).

Baptism does not save anyone since it is just symbolic. A baptized sinner is just a wet sinner, and he will still go to Hell.

--------------edit--------------
...Knowing the love and grace of God, God applying Christ’s death to those who cannot believe would seem consistent with His character. It is our position that God applies Christ's payment for sin to young children and those who are mentally handicapped, since they were not mentally capable of understanding their sinful state and their need for the Savior. Of this I am certain, that God is loving, holy, merciful, just and gracious. Whatever He does, it is ALWAYS Right.

No, considering the fact that since babies don't have a 'conscience' of what they're doing before they're maybe 4 or 5, I'd say they'd either go to heaven or be reborn.

No..
No babies under the age of approx. 5 (age of accountablilty) will go to hell . Baptised or not. Baptism has nothing to do with it, it doesnt save them from hell even if catholics think it does. it dont.. no worries. God loves little children. He will take them in.

Of course not! Babies go to Heaven. Original sin is the propensity to sin, it is actual sin that can condemn one.
