I think sometimes it was also what you grew up with. Sometimes people just think it is normal. We have quite a few drama queens in our family. Everything is an ordeal to them. And everyone wants their own way. Like we are eating at one. Then you have " I can't come till 1:15" " I have to leave by 1:30" etc.etc. Just say when we are eating and be done. Whomever comes, comes. It is beyond ridiculous. And it is with everything. People get all in a snit over dinner time, imagine what the rest of their life is like. It wears me out. They do not see they create it themselves.

Oh the life of a drama queen. I know many, and there seems to be a crap load who ask questions on Yahoo Answers. My favorites are the 14-17 year old girls who continually have unprotected sex, worry about being pregnant, buy EPT's Home pregnancy tests by the case load and ask every day..."could I be pregnant"...LOL It's hilarious. In my day, the biggest drama we had was what to wear on the first day of school.

Some people just like to live a life of drama. If there isn't some kind of drama going on, they just aren't happy.

This is a good question. Drama seems to follow certain people.

Hey Reema,
i find that people who like to do that have not learned how to be thankful. So they are always complaining and unhappy about their life because they are "victimized" (always someone mis-treating them, etc.) A lot of things, pride, self-centeredness, etc. These are just general observations- but off course it differs from person to person.
Hope that helps,
Nickster

Some people subconsciously need a sense of excitement, it's just that they go about it in all the wrong ways. Also, some do it because it makes them feel better about themselves when they make other people miserable.

I think it's because they like the attention. Even if it's a bad kind of attention, they would rather have that than no attention at all.

I think you may have placed this in the wrong category, unless you are going to explain a little more.

I agree, life is soooo enjoyable just like it is, without the need to complicate it :-)

I think they're just bored with the reality of their lives. Either THAT, - or they're afraid they're pretty boring themselves.
