I mean, if you were tortured on a cross for, let's say an hour... wouldn't you NEVER want to see a cross again? Let alone being tortured for as long as he was.... He'd probably demand all crosses be destroyed.

Last year a girl pretending to be my ex-wife stranded in africa robbed me for thousands of dollars.she sent me money orders fed ex i cashed them then sent her the money.ofcourse after i did all this i came to find out it wasnt her nor were the money orders any good.now the strange thing is she know things about me that only my ex-wife and i know and used them to gain my trust.to make a long story short she found out these things about me by reading pop-ups.you know that little window that pops up when you receive an email?it tell you who and where the email came from? well at the time i enabled spam on yahoo emaill so i had an email coming in every second then one time i was chating with a girl and i noticed that the pop ups were reading here mind than telling me what to say to her through the pop-ups. I couldnt beleive that thats how i was getting ripped off.this is no bullshit i have the bounced checks to prove it and i told the FBI about it and they already knew

You would think that if people had substantial grasp of things improving, and that big companies weren't just free to take everything these people have, then perhaps the incentive of "evil-doers" would diminish. Instead, it seems the harder America fights against it, the worse it gets. Where's it all heading?
Perhaps the planet will be very peaceful when there are no more human beings on it.
If the right wing is such devout Evangelicals...then why:
True Followers of Christ, would do what Jesus would do- turn the other cheek- let them crucify- (he could have fought, or ran away, but he didn't) Seems Americans can't follow his teachings- If we could, we would be as powerful example to the world. So as it stands, we come across as a vile hate-filled nation ruled by greed, and self indulgence.
I am sure God has a plan for people like this. Sorry, but even Islam acknowledges Christ as a true profit- I think America is doing a lousy job of being decent followers as many "claim" to be.

I have been told that I put myself down too much and that I need to allow myself to be human and not be so hard on myself.

How can I love and respect myself more and still be a good christian example.

What are ways that I cam accept and "come to terms" with things that may never be or come to pass?

I feel ashamed that I need to take medicine to maintain my health and people can be very judgemental because the medicine is for my bi-polar condition I have had for 21 years, as a result the meds have made me chunky heavy and bloated.

I do work and I am in ministry and I am married to a wonderful godly man and I am able to drive and do the things like everyone else that I thought could not be done.

I just want to be able to love my self unconditionally Psalm 139
and enjoy every moment of my life living and serving God.

What are ways that you love and accept yourself?

I see a lot of Muslims explain that Islam is not only a set of religious beliefs but also a set of rules to govern every conceivable aspect of their lives. I was wondering what it's like to live under that kind of highly regulated system. I have my own opinions of what it might be like to live like that, but I'd be interested in some first-hand accounts.

I understand in the belief that Jesus died on a stake rather than a cross. But, isn't it more important to show that we acknowladge his dying for our sins by wearing a cross around our neck (necklace) and not be viewed as pagen? I don't consider it "bowing" to a pagen image to show recognition of Jehovah's only begotten son's death. (whether stake or cross). Please don't quote the New World Translation Of The Holy Scriptures, I've been a witness all my life. Just give it to me straight!

I know people who are gifted evangelists and have the anionting to tell people about Jesus in a very godly way and people get saved.

My gifting is encouragement and I love people but I have never helped lead a person to the Lord ( I fully realize that is God, Jesus and the Holy Spieits job) I am only the vessell.

I dont talk about the Lord every 5 minutes but I do pray for people on a continual basis, and I care about people, but I do know people that have been bruised and damaged by the church and religion and I want to be sestive to thier needs as well and not shove the Bible down thier throat but be loving and if they say they dont want to hear it say fine thank you and God bless you and continue to love and pray for them.

How can you come up with something that doesn't already exist? Don't say Santa Clause, or unicorns.. A unicorn is simply a horse with a horn. Santa Clause is simply an old man, with a red suit. I can create a orange rabbit, with wings, and fangs. But all your doing is taking each individual known thing, and combing it.
Make a new color up in your mind, that I can't see. God is an entirely different concept, nobody had the power to create him in their minds.
I know your just going to give me bias answers,, so why even bother...Jesus is alive that is enough for me to believe.

God says in the Bible Godliness with contentment is great gain,
but people tend to say they just want a " little bit more" there is a lot of materialism. What are godly ways to go forward, better myself and still be content even when others have more than I do.
I knew when I got married that we would have to work hard, life and finances can be very hard.

I know our rewards are in heaven, but does that mean there are no rewards on earth?

OK.. I had my head handed to me and rightfully so.. I worded the last question wrong because I was looking at another post and not thinking it through the right way.. No disrespect was meant.

OK.. I have to ask this because I am really beginning to wonder with all these answers, slams etc..
So, you don't believe in religion... you don't believe in God.. so What do you think happens when you die?
Do you think that you cease to exist?
That your conciousness just evaporates?
Do you believe we are just a bunch of chemicals that just plopped together and formed a very finite existence?

Those people who proclaim that they are "Good God-Fearing Christians" always turn out to be the most hateful people on Gods green Earth. They discriminate against anyone who's ideals are not identical to their own. I understand they have their beliefs, but why impose these beliefs on others? Why force these beliefs down other peoples throats when their Almighty God tells them to "Love thy neighbor as thyself"?
