God says in the Bible Godliness with contentment is great gain,
but people tend to say they just want a " little bit more" there is a lot of materialism. What are godly ways to go forward, better myself and still be content even when others have more than I do.
I knew when I got married that we would have to work hard, life and finances can be very hard.

I know our rewards are in heaven, but does that mean there are no rewards on earth?

Thank you and God bless you.

Well, just because it may seem on the outside that others have more than you,(and maybe they do), it doesnt mean that they actually do. You need to ask if what they have is actually theirs. I know that all things belong to God and he gives it to whom he chooses, but Im talking about financially. Do they actually own those things that you are seeing.
Did you know that the majority of people are in a lot of debt ? And its so easy today to get anything you want because the money institutions are willing to give credit cards and loans and lines of credits to almost anyone because thats how they become rich and richer. The banks are grossing something like 80 billion dollars a year.
So, my point is that, there is much more than just meets the eye. Thats why one of the old testament 10 commands was not to covet thy neighbors...meaning dont want what your next door nieghbours have !
