All of those issues are rooted in useful issues. Santa or St. Nick has been around for an prolonged time, in one sort or yet another. initially he might leave presents interior the footwear of infants who have been good (mentioned their prayers, etc). the tale of Scrooge is a few guy who's shown how poorly his life will finally end up if he keeps to stay his life in undesirable techniques. he's shown to be good. Frosty the snowman is in basic terms a season suited character. because of the fact Christmas occurs interior the wintry climate, the comparable time as snow, the two needless to say go at the same time. Frosty comes each and each twelve months, and celebrates with the youngsters. what's he celebrating? probable Christmas. The grinch, as quickly as back, is approximately identifying directly to be good extremely of evil. All of those issues concentration on being good, and not evil. Christianity is centred around being good and not evil. i do no longer think of God minds. that is people who don't comprehend the which skill at the back of those traditions that suggestions them.

Our speculation of Santa is almost like a mock figure of religion. It unknowingly becomes a center of people's beliefs, as does God, and therefore people believe in that thing more and more. It acts as a religion, and is created by the minds of the human beings upon this Earth, again, as is God. More people believe in Santa because it is a tale of Father Christmas told to small children, to make them believe, and to teach them the meaning of faith and religion when they are young. It is possible that more people believe in Father Christmas for the same reason people learn mathematics. It is taught as something that isn't a religion, but acts like a religion, a bit like schoolwork. We learn at school as children, throughout many years, and although it is not a religion, many billions of people believe they must go to school. But to the point of the question, it depends on who you are and the choices and opinions you have to answer it. Whatever people believe, they answer accordingly. I have no real opinion on this.

Your mind is small. God is Father Christmas. They are one in the same. It's just easier for young children to comprehend a God if we portray him as a being called Santa. Santa is a childs way of understanding God. A good, happy, loving, giving being.

I think more people have heard of him and more parents are willing to tell their kids about him. He is pretty popular. Kids certainly understand him more. I'm sure if you ask a child who they like more, they will say Santa. People seem to enjoy his gifts. It's an interesting idea.
I can't say more people "believe" in him than God, though. Adults generally don't believe in Santa.

Yep Santa brings me present whether I've been naughty or nice. God makes me be nice to get on his list and even then I'm not guaranteed the present of Heaven....I have to do soooo much more just to get there. When you have to work for presents...it's takes the fun out of receiving!

No wars in his name??
You obviously didn't read about the great 1528 War between the forces of Santa and the Easter Bunny...
It was horrible, red fur and mangled elves everywhere.....
Oh the humanity...
