1. I'm too nice to believe someone died for my dirt. I would rather die for my own dirt

2. I'm good enough to take responsibility for my own wrong doings

3. I'm too nice to worship a God that allows religious wars

4. I care too much for people to wait for skydaddy to come and fix problems. We need to do it ourselves

5. I'm to nice to let a skydaddy do things for me. "It's okay Mr. Skydaddy. I dont need your help."

6. I'm too nice to worship a Skydaddy that doesn't lead by example (fighting the devil is a violent act)

Do they realize that it's a lifestyle of living holy, being Christ - like, being different from the way they use to be, being set apart, not just going to church and living a so called good life?

Jesus Christ died for us all, all sinners. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son; that whosoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life." John 3:16

Have you ever had an "OUT OF BODY" experience (without doing any kind of drugs!) I mean in a spiritual way. And if so, would you describe in as much detail as you can as to what you experienced? I have had two Near Death Experiences (the first - I went to Hell) later in my life as I found God and straightened up my life, I had another and experienced undiscribable places in Heaven. I have also had numerous Out of Body exeriences and Visions with an electrical type of sensation pulsating all through my body. Has anyone else had any of this happen? Also, since the Heavenly experiences, I started having anxiety attacks. I have noticed that many people who have (for real) experienced spiritual experiences of some sort also have or had anxiety attacks afterwards. Do you feel this has something to do with our physical bodies not being able to fully contain all of the spiritual things we are shown and given? Please share your stories with me. God Bless!

Patients underwent coronary bypass surgery. They were randomly assigned to groups. Two groups were told that they may or may not receive prayer. One did and one did not. One group was told that they would receive prayer and they did.

The two groups that were prayed for did best, the group that was not prayed for did worst.

What do you say?

produce an offspring, considered a crime as well?Think about it.An average adult man releases millions of living sperm each day and they die instantly in cases of masturbation. They are taking a life form that could be a child someday and "aborting it" by masturbating it out of their body where it dies.Only they aren't just doing this with one but millions daily!Aren't you outraged? How dare they murder all those sperms!I think we should start protesting outside those clinics..err. I mean porn shops that help those men murder innocent sperm!
Stop the sperm murders!Promote legislation to ban masturbation and any sex that doesn't produce a child! And punish all men who murder so much as one sperm!Abortion is wrong. But without the sperm there wouldn't be anything to abort. Thus, sperm is life and must be protected! We need the fundamentalists to support this move since the are notorious for supporting things like this!

Hypothetically...What if I really wanted to believe in God, but just...couldn't. Yes, I've tried church, I've read the Bible, I've borrowed a nice stack of Lewis and Yancey books. I want to love Jesus and all that jazz.
I think I'm an okay person. No criminal record. I'm a good friend. I volunteer with sincere interest in domestic violence shelters and child abuse prevention programs. I think I'm a pretty okay person, you know?

So what if I commited suicide? Would God really hate me? I'll be "sorry" for it...it's not anyone commits suicide for fun. So what if I said, "God, please forgive me. I don't know how to deal with myself. I don't know how to deal with the lonliness, and I feel worthless, but please forgive me. I love you, and I am so sorry for not trusting You...." And what if I really meant it? Will I still go to hell?

vs.

A serial killer who later repents for his sins?

Will I go to Hell while he goes to Heaven?
Serious answers only please.

Are you in the "broom closet"? Out and proud? Somewhere in between?

Personally, I'm out and proud. I am a Solitary Wiccan of over 10 years, and I have never been in the broom closet. It's just another religion and I've never seen any reason to hide it.

I'm interested in hearing about other peoples' perspectives of this.

Thanks! BB

The proof is in your answers, they speak of what you've learned. Which sadly is nothing. Prove me wrong, and you'll be proving me right.

Is it different than Christianity? Is it false?

2006-08-04 17:17:03 · 4 answers · asked by seeker 3

Ok, God is not responsible for our sin. Because he gave us freewill.
But didn't he know beforehand that I will do a particular sin in
the future? He knows everything and is powerful over everything.
Ok, if he knows that I will do some particular thing in the future--then it implies that by his knowing my action --the action itself become predetermined. So, is there another God who fixed the predetermined action. How can then it be a FREE WILL?
when something is bound to happen it is fixed not free.
