I do not actually refer to it as an out-of-body experience, but I most certainly know that such things happen to Christian people. I was in my liviing room one night, and I could actually feel some force carrying me around the room, and I know without any doubt, that it was the Spirit of God. He spoke and revealed many things to me which I will never forget. I also actually saw Jesus appear to me up in the sky one day in my back yard. He also spoke many things to me, and gave me understanding about many things which I had previously been troubled about. He has also vocally spoken to me several times in my house about several different things. When I saw Him in the sky, He also showed me a vision of a shield and a sword; and I know that He was reminding me of Eph. 6:16-17. He also told me that He was coming back to earth soon; very soon. These were his own very clear words which He spoke to me. And He told me to just stay in his Word, and to live my life one day at a time. So don't be troubled. We serve a very amazing God. But do be very careful. For Satan is also a great deceiver. He has actually spoken to me vocally also; trying to make me believe that it was God's voice that I was hearing. So as God tells us in the scriptures to try the spirits, to make certain that they be of God, when I am faced with one of these encounters, the first thing that I do is to rebuke every spirit of evil. And that is the only way that I know to be certain that it is God speaking to me. God has also spoken to me during the night. Many people would call people like me and you just fools. But I just ignore them. For I know that it was God. And I am certain that you do also. I also have anxiety attacks, or I used to before I was put on medication for them. But I do not believe that they are in any way related to the episodes which I had with God. And I also have eplileptic seizures, but I do know that God is going to heal me of both of them. And I know that He will heal you also, if you just place your trust completely in Him. May God bless you.

There is a slight difference between LUCID DREAMING and Out of the body Experiences.
in Lucid dreaming you know that you are dreaming but it is so real you feel and see ever thing in greater detail.
Everybody leaves their body for a short time when they sleep. also called astral projection.
Lucid dreaming usually happens without any thought and may be linked to revisiting something from a past life.
While in astral projection you try and fix a thing or point that you want to see in your mind before you fall asleep.
the felling of Hell may be from the fact that your soul has been forcefully jolted out of your body and may rise to higher energy levels of heaven than it can take and is absorbing to much energy to fast.. the second time you must have landed on the right level so you felt no pain from being there.
True Hell is the absence of feeling God around you.
Yes and no to the other part of the question if you had an unpleasant experience from it you may have damaged your physical bodies perceptions of what it thinks of the experience.
But If you went to one of the Heavenly planes should you suffer anxiety attacks? it was you soul that went there not your physical body.So you need to let your soul and body talk through prayer or meditation to reach a middle ground you both feel comfortable with for the time being. Its a shock to the physical body that you can heal.

I've heard that dreams can sometimes be out of body experiences- have you ever had a dream that you were in a really familiar place? Might have been your spirit traveling, instead of just a regular dream. I've never experienced anything beyond that. There are a lot of books devoted to the subject, check the "new age" section of your library or bookstore. Hopefully you'll find something there to help make sense of what you've experienced. Good luck!

Hi Unique! Would "liquid waves of love" flowing through your body describe how you feel at times because that is how the famous preacher, D.L.Moody described it! It is not an out of body experience but an in the body experience! It's called the baptism of the Holy Spirit and it is the Holy Spirit communing with our spirit when we are close to Him. Do not seek the experience but Him! Emotions and feeling change as you then stated, anxiety attacks are cause by anxiousness. Jesus said to not let that happen! So, don't let it happen! If we bring every thought into captivity, we are controlling our thoughts, they don't control us! Satan and the spirit world is strong but greater is He than is in you than he that is in the world. billy, Isaiah 62:3

You are not alone. OBE's do happen. Many learn to control them. When you have an OBE, you are visiting different realms or dimensions. It is a shifting of your awarness. Shamans use this technique to gain information. Anxiety attacks can be common with people who are having OBE's. It is possible to ask your guides (guardian angels, whichever your belief system is) to slow the information down to minimize the anxiety or energetic overload you are experiencing.
You might want to look into getting some training. You have a wonderful gift. Just be careful. Don't jump at the first person who offers to train.

I have feelings sometimes that something is going to happen but I usually don't know to whom, when or where. I just know that it has something to do with me or someone I know. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. I can usually tell which it will be. I don't like having this, especially when I know it'll be bad, or when I now who it has to do with. If I knew more, I could warn people, but I feel so helpless and burdened instead. I've told my family when I felt this way. At first they didn't believe me, but when things happened after I said it, it blew their minds...no more than mine!! I have anxiety attacks but never linked them to this. Mine started after I became unable to work and it was hard to deal with. But I do feel burdened and a heavy feeling on me when this happens. When whatever it is happens, the feeling lifts. The first time, I was a teenager. My dog (who was like one of the family) died, and I thought it would go away but didn't. A couple of weeks later, my dad's brothered was killed and the feeling left me. It's been happening every since and I'm almost forty! May God Bless You Too!!!!!!!!

I've had one experience like this, in which I felt like I was watching myself from a distance. I've heard of other similar experiences. Not sure NDE's are in the same category - according to brain scans, they're very similar to dreams. But I'm concerned about your anxiety attacks. I don't think it's the norm for those to follow spiritual experiences. There's nothing in the Bible to indicate this should be expected, and a loving God would never give us with a tremendous experience knowing we couldn't physically handle it. But the enemy would, and would enjoy creating doubt, anxiety, panic, or other negative feelings. Please be careful, and pray for protection.
