I ended up breaking my neck in a car accident 10 years ago and became a quadraplegic, and ended up going into a bit of a denial stage for 3 years afterword talking with people of how to get out of it. I was literally hidin in my own bedroom.. Well about 5 years ago I received a flier on my door knob of a local church and decided to give it a try. I ended up accepting Christ 6 months later and now my life is better than it ever was and that includes before my disability..............

I was raised in church all my life but slipped away as soon as I got of high school and joined the Army. I went full speed in the wrong direction. I committed every filthy sin I could while trying to forget all the things I had been taught. I began drinking and eventually turned into an alcoholic.
The last year of my enlistment, I was able to move to Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This enabled my wife and I to travel home quite frequently. To make a long story short, we attended our home church almost every other weekend. The youth group was hosting "Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames and asked if I wanted a part in it. Boy did this wake me up, because my character went to hell for being Luke Warm. Needless to say, my wife and I rededicated our lives to Jesus that vary night. Let me tell that it gets even better than that. The Lord called my wife and I into full time youth ministry, where we still are today. I am a licensed minister, and happy that God gave me a second chance.
I was way out there for nearly (8) years. What is sad is that at any time during that period, the Lord could have come back and I would have missed it all. I always try to share this verse with those Christians that are backslidden and have given up.
2 Peter 2:21-22 (New International Version)
21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."

There I was, eating a hot dog in the park. We hung out, played a little Frisbee, Jesus turned some Avian into wine, we got snockered, and he starts dissing his Dad. Guess he was a bit loaded at the time so I forgave. him. But, I gotta admit, he had some good points there.

He takes orders at the Taco Bell. His English needs help, but that makes sense - being from Nazareth and all. Too bad he couldn't get a better job, but I guess it would be like him to work at the Taco Bell. Jesus is not about being proud.

I have quite an amazing testimony. Not because of anything I did, but because of what the Lord has done, and continues to do for me. This is all true:
Feb. 9th of 2000 I was in Virginia, and I got sick from something called bacterial meningitis. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of that before, but 85% to 90% of the people were dying from it when I got it! I was in a coma for a month though; having nightmares the whole time. And I unfortunately wasn’t a Christian before I got sick. After all those bad dreams though, I thought to myself, “Well, maybe GOD does exist.” At that point I went to the library in my dream and read part of the Bible. Shortly after that I woke up! Because I remember being in the hallway one day on a wheelchair, and one of the nurses asked me, “How are you doing?” And I said, “Oh great! Last weekend I went to the library and read the Bible!” And she said, “No! You were passed out last weekend!” I thought I was still dreaming when she said that. Then a few days later my Mom showed up and she said, “Hi Zach, how are you?” And I said, “Oh great Mom! Last weekend Dad and Papaw (her Dad) took me out to town and we had a great time!” And she said, “No Zach! You were in a coma that weekend, and Papaw died in 1991!” And once again, I thought I was still dreaming, just having a good dream with my Mom there, but a crazy part with her saying that. Of course I remember now that he died, and we know that GOD let him come down from Heaven and be with me in my time of need. I know that because my Mom, her Mom, and others that love him have actually seen him out in public!
I’m still recovering from the meningitis, but I’m really thankful to GOD for a lot of things now. I was completely deaf whenever I first came out of the coma and the doctors thought there was a possibility that I’d remain that way for the rest of my life. They also thought at one time that they might have had to amputate my right leg! Fortunately neither one of those things are true. I still have a really bad hearing loss however. And I’m praying to wake-up (I haven't decided on any specific date, I've come to realize that GOD already has a perfect time. Galatians 6:9) one day with all my hearing back in both ears. When our Heavenly Father does that I am definitely going to write a book called, “From Agnostic to Affection”, in addition to becoming a missionary one day.
He has done a LOT more for me too!

I went back in time...and was one of the Three Wise Men. I brought the muhr, and I have to say, he definitely liked it better than the gold or frankensence.
Also, my friend Liz is Jesus.
